Isn't this really stupid? Why would the men in this fantasy program the sexbots like this?
Not really. The bots are meant as temporary stand ins for real women until they can replace their numbers, not just as sex toys.

From VR this is a pretty ok game, DEVs need to check out VAM though, the inabilty to grab leaves the player playing patty cake on the bots tits for lack of any other interaction. once in a scene the bot almost completely becomes intangible except for the breasts but. Overall well done for a first release but haptic feed back and ability to either pose or atleast grab onto the bot would be nice.

And, how to solve the problem with left mouse button? It's impossible to play without it!

That was the worst thing I ever tried to play, the model is nice but not worth the effort and mental distress that it takes to control your character.
It's mainly a VR game.

I'm confused, is this or is this not a VR game? It's being sold as one if it isn't, which seems like something they'd get called out on right away.

Is this maybe the 2D version of the exe?
The dev team made a similar game for last Christmas as a gift but, that was VR only so, a lot of people complained about not being able to play it. That's why they made this available even without VR

Yeah but what's the point if the controls are so bad it's almost impossible to play, this just comes over as trying to get a few more sales from non vr users with zero effort put into it, this is actually sold as payable non VR as well after all.

The non-VR controls would not be as bad, if they had the decency to rip off the surgeon simulator control scheme -finger controls, since you cant grab anyways.

This is what I usually call an "artist's anti-cloying pill". When an artist is working on a major production of their, they usually start up inspired, motivated, with a bit of an adrenaline rush to get shit done. However, the more resources of time and energy they put into it, the more they grow fed up and sick of that work. Shitty artists give up at this point, good artists focus and make it to the end, and average artists create a secondary and crappy work they use to get some variety from the main product.

Adeptus Steve is working on Wild Life, a major adult RPG that has slipped into mainstream social media (there are reports about it on YT, Twitter, etc), and now he randomly released this mess. Can you see the analogy I'm trying to make?

Visually this was incredible, the animations (ignoring your arm movements :3) were also well done. clearly this was designs primarily for VR tho as moving hands around is far from ideal. another thing was a time when i somehow got naked and the sex doll would not stoop saying "stop that" even tho i was not touching her nor was i near her...that got annoying really fast.
those however were my only real issues with this experience.

i do wish the sex toys from the vending machine had a purpose. maybe they do and i just didn't know how to use them.
i also would have liked to be able to explore much more of the ship.

Overall
This is a talented developer i highly recommend trying their stuff especially if you have access to VR.

Other
I was surprised when i found out that this is just a side project. with their main one being Wild Life.
which is visually mind blowing!

This was made because the main project doesn't make enough money to pay for everything (the team, office, bills and all that).

These guys are passionate about the project and are trying to make the best they can but, that's why they are struggling with revenue.

They need more goals then, they have blown past 2 of 4 of them and the 3rd is a week or so away (they gained 300 of the 600 need to reach it since Saturday).

Then again noticed this when this game came out, so I guess they are seeing the increases they desired from this release.

Yeah, the new game took off nicely which is great. I would love it as well but, I don't have a VR headset.

Absolutely dreadful when playing it non-VR, it's like controlling a shopping cart with only 1 wheel. Cant't speak for the VR version but I really hope they improve the non-VR FPS mode of this game.

I hope everyone here is aware that if 95% of the users are lurking the games there wont be any decent games coming out in the future.

nice to see 50k+ hits.

we actually plan on fixing and polishing the game further, the non vr mode as well maybe instead of complaining about stuff you steal you could support the developers and actually contribute.

Played in VR on Oculus Rift roomscale setup.
Have to say the controls are clunky as hell, the physics system is terrible and not well designed for VR.
Also you cant "grab" body parts to interact with em, instead you hold your hand against the body which results in ugly rubber like body movement. Toys seems to do nothing and they even do not align properly with the in-game hand. Also the player body feels out of place, I think it would be better to trash the whole physics stuff with the player model. The dev's should simply simulate the player hands (as almost every other VR game), they should add a button to "lock" the hands on body parts nearby and let the player interact with them (kinda like illusion vr games do it). It would feel much more natural.

The underlying idea is cool and all. The graphics and animations are good too. But there are no graphics options to adjust, the performance isn't good (matching recommended VR specs), the teleporting mechanic is somewhat buggy and so on...
This seems to be a waste of time and I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy this game (apart from supporting the development of the main game Wild Life).

As side note: I've recently seen a video which showed the same physics system in Wild Life. It might be to early to judge on that, but from what I experienced playing the Sexbot Simulator, I think it would be better to trash this rubber collision idea and move on to a more enjoyable approach. Safe to say that this system would need major improvements to get it working correctly, especially in VR.

Why would I buy a game that doesnt work non-vr you genius ass developer that is why people pirate stuff. Because game are not delivering on their promise, even closely. Don't sell it as non-vr if it doesnt work.
