RPGM - Completed - Shopkeeper's Wife NTR [v1.0] [PixleAx]

I personally like the game.
But I'm giving it 3 stars because too much Grind and Censorship destroy otherwise what would be a pretty cool, short game.
As for me, I just cheated Gold and it removes the need to fight monsters.
Which just leaves you with exploration of lewd options and to progress with them.

Other reviews have already pointed out what I want to say for this game, so I will just go with a general review of the game.
It is a short,grindy, and straightforward H games, where after you farm to get the mirror, the rest you need to do is just sit at home and spam clicks to get most of the items that you can get with gold. It is also good that you spend out a bit of gold to buy some fishes to feed the cat everyday *wink wink*. Then you can go all out with the main girl. And then, after you get the grimoire, you just repeatedly fight each stage and then progressively upgrade your char and get some extra h scene with the other one.
I wouldn't say the game is bad, the art and animation is nice, but to grind that much, it would feel kinda not worth your time. So, a point of 3/5 for how average the game is should be fitting

Gameplay: 1/5. It's really moderately timed clicking. there's no strategy to the later challenge fights, just lose until you have enough upgrade stones.

Content: 1/5. barely animated, vanilla scenes that progress at snail pace. not arousing at all

Grindy: 1/5. the game really makes you dig for the piddling amount of content. skip, do literally anything else in gaming.

Truly good game, a bif of grinding but then right after it comes easier.

Except the mirror battle, that needs more grinding to get stronger in battle.

Things that are retaining this game to be pretty good are:
1. Censorship (really why?)
2. Takes a lot to cum/increate her H stats.
3. More positions (some are re used in other places with different layout)

You can use a save file already here and start from there if annoyed by the grinding.

There is not much to do. Just click fight earn money , use money to buy items
H part is okay, too easy and a bit repetitive

Pixel and artwork is great but there is not much element to play, system of game is okay so it could be much better. However too narrow content.

only extra minus point for me is that pregnancy is just ending. NO PREGSEX

The gameplay outside of the sex scenes is alright.

The sex scenes are poor:

• Outside of the groping scenes it's pretty much non-interative. Which would be fine if it isn't just 2 minutes of you watching the bar slowly fill up
• The sex scene progression is too fast. There is barely any corruption. You grope her once twice to unlock penetration. Or you can just get the key from the cat and unlock sex right away. Makes no sense.
• There is no variation. The same scenes play out the same way no matter the corruption level.
• The scenes are meh: you never get to see the heroine's full body. The animations are just image warping.

Game explains little of how its meant to be played and feels unfinished; several mechanics are implemented in a manner that makes one wonder why they are even in the game, and some are only there to make the player waste time, such as travelling from place to place and arbitrary limitations upon interactions.

Artstyle for the scenes is questionable; whether or not it is AI is not for me to say, but it sure seems like it, considering the lack of effort put into it. But the pixel art of the game itself is fairly charming.

Overall, something to sink 1 hour into and then forget.

Another netori game inspired by that NTR game I can't mention because it goes against Review rules.
If you played those types of games then you should already know what the gameplay is like. You either spend time harassing the wife to get her lust levels up so you can do more stuff to her or play minigames to get money to buy items to unlock new features in the game.
It follows the source game's steps so closely I guessed everything you need to do just with my knowledge of the source game. There is even feeding a cat enough times to get key to couple's home!
The minigames are either clicking the left or right mouse buttons at the right time or clicking the right buttons on screen. Later to get the ending you need to play a new minigame where you have to do turn-based combat. You will be too weak to beat that minigame but every time you lose you get powerups so eventually you will beat it.
The biggest issue with this game is how grindy it is. You get money at a fair decent rate but there is just so much to buy that it takes so much effort to buy everything to unlock all the features. Also the woman gains lust at such a slow rate that it takes around 30 seconds for her to climax once. Then you have to do it multiple times to increase her lust level. I just left the screen on and did other things while building her to climax. The amount of time needed to unlocked everything is just not worth it.
This game offers only the same kind of sex scenes and minigames done better in other games but also takes so long to finish that it sucks the fun of playing.

A mediocre, if somewhat enjoyable time waster. Have some nitpicks everywhere, basically.
I did play the Japanese version though.

Gameplay, 2/5: Mobile-Game-Esque
You grind out money to fight monsters better and buy the sex stuff from the witch at night afaik. Morning and afternoon, you fight goblins and you just press left or right accordingingly (sword or shield). At night, you fight demons, and have to click the appropriate rune.

The core gameplay loop is... okay. But there's a lot of time wasted- for example, sleeping takes maybe 5 seconds for the fade to black, back to controlling the character, and transitioning between maps is a bit slow too. Of course, that doesn't sound too bad, but when you have to sleep every night, it becomes a nuisance to deal with every time when you're trying to grind.
Plus, sex only has two speeds, super slow to build meter, and you might as well just do the basic sex (where you touch her) if you want to grind out that experience.

Visuals, 2/5: OK Art, Mediocre Sex Scenes
So, the art style is very reminiscent of AI art, but I think it's literally just their style. The "animations" are L2D and are also... off-putting. Some of the character sprites are OK, and there's stock images used here and there such as the sword and shield icons, the monsters, etc.
I know art can take a while to make, but I'd honestly hope for a more refined animation, at least?
Even some "two images alternating" feel like it has more... life in it. Maybe I'm just picky.

Audio, 3/5: Average
Very... Normal. Music is fine. I don't know what else to say, everything has just been mediocre to below average.

Story, Ignored/5: Was in Japanese (Cutscene was Enough).
The cutscene of "wow hot shopkeeper woman" is literally enough to convey the story. You just fuck her in the morning and afternoon, talk to the husband at night, and just... There's no real dialogue either.

Overall, 2/5: Long Review for Mid Game
It's mid. It's just, mid. Everything feels a bit cheap. They're not broken which is great, and the rune mini-game was... "Interesting" cause it at least used a bit more of that recognition brain power.

TL : DR, It's not bad it's just not good, this game.

TLDR : Passable and fairly enjoyable timewaster with good art but a dull gameplay loop. I would give it 3.5 stars if able.

Gameplay is passable. You gain money through a timed system where you match left and right clicks to "attack" or "defend", you advance in your relationship by looping through sex scenes avoiding getting caught. There is no real major punishment to getting caught, and it really ends up being enough of a grind that I sped up game speed using cheats. The game allows you to develop her lewdity, but it doesn't do much beyond the main "level" to unlock scenes. In the end there isn't much point developing them all.

The storyline isn't much. You don't have to spend much time developing or convincing her to have sex with you, as she's basically down for harassment moment one. She doesn't care about her cheating nature. You can have discussions with her man but overall it turns into a set of scenes where you put him to sleep and have sex with her. It's not much substance.

On the translation note, I'm not sure. I happened to play this game in Japanese yesterday before it was posted here, so I don't know how this version is. Given how little I had to translate in my original playthroughm, I doubt there's much to mess up.

Art and scenes are pretty good. She's attractive and there's a decent number of scenes. The other shopkeep is attractive too, for what it's worth. The animations are simple and overall good. There isn't a ton of substance for climax outside of inside of her (haha) because regardless of where u finish, the same image is shown based on the event. No facials, you get what you get.

Sound is fine, nothing notable to speak of.

The game is fine, it's a perfectly passable and enjoyable timewaster especially if you don't mind forcing the game speed up a bit. Don't expect an especially interesting story, consequences for failure, or challenge. It's a simple grind. The reward for knocking her up is pretty dull too. I feel the game would have benefited from a little more time given to consequence or making it feel like anything you do matters, or that you have to work for anything.
