While the quest is indeed bugged, you also have to progress further into the main story. The guide doesn't tell you this, so I had to learn this the hard way. Just keep checking with the nun, and when you get the quest for the harpy you can get Mel in the same chapter. I don't know why Siren's quest hasn't been fixed yet, but it's been bugged for a while.

after interacting with Hanako and Reimei at the garden, i interacted with everything i could, but the antique box is locked and the door at left corridor is locked too

Hi! can everyone help me please i can' capture Rose. When i start she always kill me. I have problem with the eye in my item-bar. When i start fight them appare. Please help me!
Check in your demon compendium if you have a bunch of corruption from her, that could be what's causing it. Also, you should speak with Dr. Yui about countermeasures if you haven't already, fighting Rose without it is.... well, I've never done it, so I don't know how hard it is or is not.
Thanks for your reply. Yes i reset level in Demon compendium and i have contermesaure by Dr Dre. I suspect im face with bug. because yesterday just one time rose behavior was different. She don't kill me instantly.
Reset level only works on the levels drained from you iirc. Corruption only decreases by bedding other demons. If you have high corruption when facing a boss, try going to the hotel and getting drained there for a bit, either of your levels or just your balls. That oughta lower corruption if that is the cause.

I seem to have a problem with my save files (their size grows very fast and, after a while, the game takes a really long time to save). After searching the forums without luck, I decided to post here to ask for help in case someone has had a similar issue or has an idea of what may be causing it.
I play the 2.77 version of the game (from DLsite) with the latest English patch. Right now, in my current playthrough, the save files are above 1Mb in size for a playtime of 06:14:27. I deleted a previous playthrough where they got above 2Mb (for 19 hours or so) and saving times were longer than 20 seconds.
After comparing with saves posted here by some fine fellows, it seems that my files are much bigger than normal.
My computer is recent and I have no issue with game performance other than that.
Any help or suggestion will be much appreciated ; this game is rare enough of a gem that I'm willing to try anything to fix my problem

Edit : after some more research, this issue seems recent which would explain why older savefiles are not so big.
It seems that the file's size increases by several Kb every time a save is made even if nothing changed (this was not the case in previous versions). Since the game autosaves regularly, it leads to a pretty large savefile which seems to cause peformance issues.
I'm not sure how to report this to the Devil's Office team but I left them a message on twitter, hoping it's nothing big and they can fix it easily (if something needs fixing in the first place).
I have this same glitch as well. My save file is also getting large and making load times bad on save.
DEVIL'S OFFICE recently put out a new version (2.78) with patch note stating that infinite loop has been resolved.
Unfortunately, the translation patch tool does not allow us to install the translation on 2.78 (Translation is 2.77).
You can download the new version from DLSITE, etc, but until the translation patch is marked to allow 2.78 installs, you'll likely be dealing with the infinite bug until then.

Nothing yet, apparently there was a similar issue with the demo version and it was corrected at the time. So, hopefully it will be fixed in a future version (I checked and 2.78 still has the problem).
In the meantime, the only workaround I found is to play with an older version of the game (2.68 in my case).

Considering it's new content not even a month old yet man, you're going to have to be patient while people test stuff out, outright get an answer from the developer, or you can test stuff out yourself.
