with permadeath, the challenge would be so real
In game journalist difficulty, the enemies just feel bad for your skill issue and just assure you everything will be fine instead of outright killing you.

Nah, for Journalist Mode, the game calls you a pussy and tells you to play it like a gamer would; on the hardest difficulty.
If anything, since there is a level up system to increase your stats, you can always completly ignore it and this should make the game harder in theory.

it's still going to release on that date, but there's supposed to be a new trial update for save compability during this week before the full game releases
If dev releases the demo a day before the official release, I'll just wait for the full release.

The DLsite store page has been updated with the release date and the price. Still no updated demo at the moment though.

Price got announced, 100% confirmation that the 12th is release day, new demo will come out basically at the same time as the full release.
That's it
So, it'll release on April 12th Japan time, but for me or some, it'll release on April 11th at 7 or 8 am PST because it'll be the 12th in Japan?
