I feel like corpo_dev might have been a big inspiration here—it just gives me that vibe. Honestly, among all the HTML games I’ve played, this is one of the best, and the end result was a really pleasant surprise.

I disagree.

If you played during the late 90's and early 00's you'll know that getting up to a third of a game as free demo was pretty common. If you like a game, there is no reason, outside of excessive poverty that'd make one question why you have internet access, not to pay for it. Cause paying for things you like makes them more successful and success breeds imitation.
And I'd like there to be more things derived from things I like.

Piracy just keeps people from milking consumers and being lazy.

Paywalling is locking content behind a paid supporter tier. Supporter tiers aren't buying a product, it's either supporting a dev or paying a glorified ransom to a begging dev.

Pirates pay to support devs they like. They don't pay to access content they can get for free.

I'm not saying not to support devs, I'm saying devs shouldn't be shilling their platforms in threads when we already include links to them in the OPs. Especially when someone asked for pirated content and the dev's immediate reply was to tell them to subscribe for it.

It's beyond poor form for sites like this, we're not here to be advertised to.

... Sorry I just recovered from a seizure induced by the conniption fit I just had. There is a single male character in the game, you the protagonist, the mods tagged this as gay... Take this from genuine experience... It is really hard to have sex, let alone gay sex alone. Granted you'll throw anything under the gay tag I suppose. Don't developers need to be supported? Originally, I didn't do too complicated encryption, I wanted to spend more energy on the development of game content, and the game body was originally free. It's quite a simple thing, why make it complicated?
