how many wallpapers are required, that they count as a new release? Like 20?!
Gimmy those Wallpapers, last update almost 1 year ago? I don't care! I don't pay! I'm a pirate.... let's wait for the dev telling us, he was not making enuf money from his wallpapers.... so he has to provide an update once every 5 years!![]()
HmmI'm still around and working on the game as much as I can. I just don't really have time to respond to people complaining about a game that I give away for free and I make as a hobby in the little spare time I have. The ones who support the game or make an effort to interact with me do not complain. They certainly have a right to complain, I never wanted updates to take this long or have to work 2 day jobs, but it is what it is. I greatly appreciate the support the game has been given, but it has never been a livable wage that can allow full time work on the game. I'm not complaining or saying I deserve more or anything like that. Just being real. I would still work on the game if it was no money at all because it is fun. It's not abandoned and it won't be. It will just take more time than I thought it would. The only thing I can suggest for people who are upset is to wait until there are more updates if you don't want to wait between them.
Hey, I just found your game and it looks cool. If possible, it might be a good idea to edit the first post to remove the assertion that the updates are planned for every two months, since that no longer seems to be the case. I suspect for most people they'll either not care or hate how long the game takes to update either way, but I think there may be some people that the expectation of more frequent updates being disabused could leave a bitter taste in their mouths, when they would otherwise enjoy the game and be fine waiting for updates. It seems like you're working hard despite your circumstances and making a fun game, so it seems like a pity that people might be bouncing off of it for no good reason when they'd otherwise enjoy it.I know friend. I'm just explaining what's been going on and why I'm not active here. If you were, I wouldnt have wasted my time replying![]()
You just said it. October was 3 months ago. There hasn't been any development updates for over three months on any of the crowdfunding sites. It's been radio silence. All the dev has posted in the last 3+ months is custom renders. That's the reason for the tag.
- After 3 months of inactivity from the developer's public creator/crowdfunding accounts (Patreon, SS, etc), we will resolve special circumstances or scenarios on a case-by-case basis (no creator accounts, creators developing for free, Patreon accounts under review/ban).

That's the reason for the tag.Looking around, I can't find any reason the abandoned tag should be there unless someone reported it and whoever tagged it didn't actually look at anything, just accepted the report at face value.
The Dev posted here and on Discord in Oct. that he's slowly still working on it, there's no "I quit" post, and it's basically been one year since the last game update, so the thread should have another six months before the tag is applied (according to mod info posted on other threads ...).
- Abandoned: used in the following cases:
- The developer states that the development has been permanently suspended.
- After 3 months of inactivity from the developer's public creator/crowdfunding accounts (Patreon, SS, etc), we will resolve special circumstances or scenarios on a case-by-case basis (no creator accounts, creators developing for free, Patreon accounts under review/ban).
- No game update has been released for an abnormally long period of time (>18 months).
- Game threads that are marked On-hold for over 6 months with no game update.
- Note: this prefix is only removed upon the release of a new update for purchase/download.
I like this VN and also hope it's still active but I think the prefix is fair. Even on the Discord the dev seems to avoid answering questions about what's going on with development. There hasn't been a peep about it in months. Last news of anything mentioned that IRL happened. So the prefix is accurate.Eh, whatever. If they have that, they should also be willing to have exceptions. Ah well.
To be fair, it's not this one I'm salty about ... it just felt like a safe place to converse in the moment.I like this VN and also hope it's still active but I think the prefix is fair. Last news of anything mentioned that IRL happened and that was back in September. So the prefix is accurate.
With that said, the tags aren't meant to control devs and most devs really don't care what happens on F95 anyway. I 100% believe a dev should work at their own pace. But this situation does meet the criteria for the prefix. If SH isn't actually abandoned, then the prefix will get removed when the update drops. No biggie.
Ha! Looks like someone doesn't like the tag ...New update progress post:You must be registered to see the links
Might not be enough to get the tag removed though.Ha! Looks like someone doesn't like the tag ...
