Cant believe a porn game with this kind of production values in a space/cyberpunk setting even exists. 3D models are amazing, world building is top notch and the writing is really fun. Truely baffling. Cant recommend this game more, if you are into its content.

Star Periphery is a futadom on femboy mc visual novel in a well thought out sci-fi universe. Futas can be romanced and gotten to know through adventurous storylines that intertwine to shape up to a central narrative. Each ingame day has at least one potential sex scene in it, often with variations or extras to explore. There are around 20 days so far and also some places to visit that don't end the day. Has been my gateway drug to 3Dcgi, the quality of some renders can amaze me every time I play. Dev is kind, mature and very responsive to the community, has the workflow and story figured out. Updates are fairly regular. There are several hours of content but the game is still early in development, it's in its first of 3 chapters. Expect lots of juicy thiccness and being on the receiving end.

Negatives:
I can't think of many for the above reasons, but lets see: Stats button hard to find, it would be better if money or even stats and items would be visible (by default, on top row?). There are no proper animations. Main map readability could be improved to show where content is still avalable, but I like the looks of it. Sounds are sporadic. All the stuff I just mentioned are work in progress. Thicc bodytypes will not be the ideal for everyone, but this is more of an initial thought. Once playing you'll see the variation and each body on the leaner side is an argument for perfection. For others this same thing is the best part, there are some chubby girls.

Positives:
There are many reasons this game could be considered the best in its genre.
- Flexible Design. Visit locations in any order without missing out on content, there's no grinding required to experience everything you want either. There are some "bad" endings, but the game lets you return to your last choice. Did I mention there are "bad" endings? Additionally, there's no exclusivity or jealousy between love interests, and you can skip fetishes that aren't for you.
- Internal consistency is taken seriously. Approach to sex and character motivations are also firmly on the realistic side by porn game standards, meaning it remains believable so hypersexuality & fiction can shine. The universe with its various factions and species feels larger than just the scenes we get to see.
- Setting is not too grim but distopian undertones provide depth. Personal relationships with main love interests are positive. Futas & futadom isnt portrayed as inherently evil which is very refreshing after most other femdom and futadom games.
- "Spacer" (default name) aka twink-kun is often passive and doesnt talk much, suitable for self insert. Can be a point of attraction to some, inoffensive for others - this is hard to achieve with male characters imho. He isnt a total loser but an adventurous and even moderately capable little fella who can get recognized by the ladies. He is often teased or belittled, sometimes playfully and sometimes in a more dominating way. Eventually they warm up to him which looks different with many of these strong willed amazons.
- The futas are not one dimensional but markedly distinct from eachother, capable of wholesomeness and naughtiness alike. They can be easygoing or demanding in their own ways but also generally competent and genuine.
- Kink-wise there is variety, I'd rate the severity medium. No truly bizzare kinks and main focus is on oral and anal play/sex. There are aliens, and some things we get a taste of are in the hardcore category. Denial, restrains and sissification promise to be recurring themes. Cant wait for more of the kinky stuff.
- Skills are also utilized in the game: anal, oral, guns ,& tech, probably more to come. They dont do much but some content or small scene variations become available as they are leveled by playing the story. They do reinforce a sense of training your holes and shaping up for the challenges so its a great addition. A favor counter does the same for relationships.

I couldnt recommend more strongly if you are into futas topping you (or a cute femboy).

It's fantastic. I wasn't sure I would like it since most of the futas do not have the body type I'm looking for but I do not regret it. I learned to love the girls first and then their body type became unimportant.

Great writing, fun game. I wish there was more management gameplay but other than that, best futa game out there right now.

I was holding off on this because Devs in this genre seem to come and go in a few months, but it looks like this one is staying around for the long haul.

As for the game itself

Render Quality 10/10
Seriously, This is one of the best looking games bar none in this genre and probably top 10 in all genres, if their is one thing I cant praise high enough it's the quality, lighting, and attention to detail.

Story 7/10
The Story, up to the the point in development this is written, is just now starting to open up and take off. What there is I really like, and look forward to getting to know more about the crew, the station, and the universe as a whole. I will revise this part in a few more updates, as I believe things are really about to kick off.

Waifus 10/10
I was genuinely surprised how interesting I found all the girls.
I was a little worried the LI's would be all the tropes
"Ice Queen" "Big Sis" "Tough girl" ect, but my expectations were quickly subverted. The writing is really well done, and all the girls are quite multifaceted, which makes this a real diamond in the rough.

Nitpick
My only real gripe with this game is when the people emote.
Most of the time emoting is written as the same sentence, only with a slightly
different font, It can make you have to re-read this sentences often.

Example
Now, come on and do the rest of the work She points toward the soap.

Since their is no punctuation for "work." it reads as the same sentence and can really mess with you. if it was

"Now, come on and do the rest of the work." She points toward the soap.
or even
Now, come on and do the rest of the work. "She points toward the soap."

it would read better. But that really is my only nitpick.

I've been burned many times in the past with this genre so I stopped supporting new devs long ago. but I made my first donation before writing this, as I believe this dev has staying power, and this is a game I definitely want to stick around. So for anyone on the fence, jump in you wont be disappointment.

The renders are hot. The sets and lighting are magnificent.

That's about all I can say that's complimentary. The lewd scenes are hot, but repetitive and unvarying. The user interface sucks. How much money do you have? There doesn't seem to be any way to tell. When are you done with a release? There's no way to tell except to go to every single location, one by one, click on everything, and wade through all of the "nothing yet" or "not available yet" screens before you can make another choice. Nothing is open at the market? Then say so up front, or, I don't know, don't even allow the user to click there. There is no quest list, so you never know what you're supposed to do next if you get stuck. I get that it's a sandbox game, but at least put some clues in, for God's sake.

I'm hopeful the game gets better as it progresses, but I think I'll take a break from releases for a (gee, how long has it been since the last release?) oh, yeah - I guess a year or two.

Early days but even in this state this is the best game from this site i've played in a while.

Skipped most of the world building etc. but seems ok if that's what you're looking for. Where this game shines for me in is the lewd scenes. They are incredibly hot and well written and actually last more than just a couple of images.

Easily worth 5 stars if you're into futas.

Let me tell you. I have been following Void and his project for over a year now. This is simple : There is not a single game that come as close as this in term of quality. Void is putting so much dedication to Star Periphery its unreal. This is hands down the best visual novel there is for this genre. I highly recommend you to try it out, if you're into it.

The writing, the setting and the characters are all brilliant. Star Periphery does a good job of presenting a well thought out, consistent universe where the story takes place. The Renders are extremely well made compared to some other VN's ive played and they are getting better with every patch.

Each character feels distinct with their own personality quirks and appearances and often reflect their tempermant which is amazing. The Sex Scenes are hot, and as the game gets patched, are getting hotter still! i highly recommend it to everyone who enjoys a High Quality Futa-on-Femboy Space Adventure.

Now I was reluctant at first to try this game , cause of specific factors in the game , but when I decided that I add to try it and play it i become an absolute fun of this game , characters are incredible , story is perfect , MC is just incredible choices and story are amazing ... Adult content is , lets say Hot cause mainely the characters in the story are hot and graphics made the game even more hot ... Perfect game , waiting for next release ! thanks

The production values are in their own league within the genre. High-quality pictures that set the tone and atmosphere, good variation on a consistent theme, great flow in the storytelling and funny dialogue.

One of the best games in its genre. Great renders, great variety of settings, great seggs scenes and even though I was initially skipping the dialogue, on second playthrough it's actually fun to play without skips.

In these types of 3D games i always find myself having a character i dont really care for and just skip their scenes , im happy to say that in Star Periphery that never happend i love each and every character and their sex scenes even the ones with minor characters are amazing !
Its is also great to finnaly find a game with a femenine main character that i find really cute from the way her looks to they way he dresses and even stands , i cant wait to see what is next for this game and i hope we can get more content for it !

Unfinished but has a lot of potential...The 3d characters are nice, I wonder how far the artist is going to improve on the characters designs... the story and scenes are interesting...The artist is working on updates, so that's good...The only thing that I personnally think the game is lacking is that the main character (the femboy)... he/she doesn't penetrate the futas, they always penetrate him, I feel like the main character is missing out...I also wouldn't mind if the main character was more feminine or a futa, but the present design of the character looks sexy... The game at this present time has an interesting story with nice visuals...I'm looking forward to the continuation of this game...I would also like to add that the artist/game developer seems to appreciate thickness and big butts/giant butts, I think that's a very good thing.

ok this is 5 stars for the models and the story. No real animations but man, if you like the models and you like FUTA and you like sci-fi.....5 stars for sure. You are on the receiving end of almost all of the content, so if that is not your jam, look elsewhere.

I hate futa on male content. When I play this game, I shiver in horror everytime I see the manly bits of the MC. So you have to believe mee when I say this is one of the greats. If the MC was a girl, it would be one of my favourites. Makes me regret being straight.

Love this game! Art is great and the writing is above tolerable (very rare for a porn game lol). Probably even going to throw a couple bucks at the patreon, can't recommend enough if youre into futa x male.

TLDR: Holy Moly, what a ride, this game is AMAZING , 5/5 stars! Hands down the best futa game I've ever played, with the scifi setting and world building being just as good! It took me many many sessions to complete the available content, if you catch my drift lol.

Story / Characters:

The story and world building are expertly crafted, and the pacing is spot on. Each of the characters fits into the world in their own unique way, each with their own unique personalities, likes / dislikes, and roles.

You can choose to visit many of the characters below as your primary action each day, and this expands your relationship with that character. Each of these scenes is lengthy, with intelligent dialogue and intriguing plot-lines that keep your attention. All of the science fiction tech makes sense, and has explanations on how things work, which is a major must for a scifi game. Scifi games that don't explain how things work in the world, turn me off, so I'm glad to see this level of attention paid to the world building.

There is money, and some other mechanics including stats in the game, however these don't see a ton of use just yet in the current version, apart from some affect on dialogue. The developer has a very clear plan and timeline for each of the parts (1, 2 and 3), including fleshing out the mechanics, and I'm really excited after playing this version (4.5) to play all three parts when they are complete.

Very rough descriptions of each non-minor futa character below for context in review.
Ginny (Bar Owner on PSX): Punk Rebel who owns the bar in the game. MC is indebted to her early on, creating a unique dom / sub dynamic.
Amira (Head of Security on Despina): Ex-military shredded rough dom, knows her away around a firearm. You can visit her on the ship, and go on relevant missions with her to learn more about her background.
Lise (Engineer on Despina): MY FAVORITE GIRL <3, muscled redhead who likes her machines, and keeps the Despina flying. Her personality is lighthearted and bubbly, and her model is PERFECT. You can assist her on a few different missions, and develop your relationship further on each. While you can't go as far yet as I'd like with her in this update, day 3 is coming in the pipeline very soon.
Iris (Medical Officer on Despina): Stern and mature Doctor, with a...particular taste in boys. There is a particular scene with Iris where she asks the MC a question about the other characters, that I REALLY liked, and hope the MC's answer is brought up in future dialogue.
Pike (Mine Mechanic): Mechanic in the PSX mines, she is busy fixing up mechs and working on keeping the whole mining operation running. You can visit her and help her out with the machines, or in other ways...lol. She is the shortest of the futa characters, but she's got height where it counts.
Tessa (Logistics Officer on Despina): The curviest and girthiest of the individuals on the Despina, she manages logistics on the ship, and like the others you can choose to visit her a few times to get closer to her. Tessa has a motherly dynamic (depending on your dialogue), that sets this character apart, and takes the hottness to the next level for me.
Markala (Port Officer on PSX): Curvy blue alien, and tallest character in the game at 7 feet tall. You can get numerous jobs from her outside of working on the Despina, with each of these jobs leading your character into unique and sticky situations, including some fun with Markala herself.

Visuals / Renders / Audio:

The environments and models simply blew me away. I'll start with the models, as their designs really impressed me! In the futa genre of games, we normally don't get very good renders, the models in other games typically look like a woman with a penis glued on.

I can happily say that is NOT the case in Star Periphery, each of the models were expertly crafted, their proportions, skin tone and textures, everything is seamless and and check all the boxes for me. All of the characters have very pretty faces, and make-up that matches. Lise, being my favorite model of all the characters. The MC is the perfect balance of boyish / feminine for a futadom game, and the model works really well in all the scenes.

Onto the environmental renders, man they are really good! In my opinion they are flawless. The detail in each of the environment renders really stands out, I suggest really appreciating each of the renders, as there are so many small details that were carefully added to build the world.

Finally, onto the audio, this is the only area of the game that I feel is lacking. Some of the areas of the game have ambient sound / music, but I'd say currently only like 20% of the games scenes have audio. For some, this might be normal for VN's, but frankly I have to have sound in all scenes. I found myself looking up cyberpunk ambient sounds, mine sounds, dark club music, etc while playing the game to keep immersed. I'm not sure of the legality / difficulty in obtaining music that can be used in the game (as game will be coming to steam per SS), but I think having music or ambient sounds that fit the environment, for every scene, is a must.

Sexy Content:

If you like futadom, this is the perfect game for you. There are many sub-fetishes that were included. The trigger words used in the sex scenes were very hot (characters calling you a girl, calling your ass a pussy, mother dynamic, etc). I also really enjoyed how the MC was a "hands free" lover in a majority of scenes. All in all, it took me numerous sessions to complete the game lol.

Final Thoughts: In conclusion, as stated at the start, I give the game a 5/5, even with the lack of sound in most scenes. I suggest supporting the developer if you can afford to, as they are clearly putting lots of passion and effort into making the best futa scifi game ever made.
