Ren'Py - Steps of Debauchery [Ep. 4.1] [Fooxied]

A very nice and almost perfect game. The events that take place in the morning are currently limited and not so optional. That will probably change sooner or later.
Riley our female protagonist is very good looking. And also, with her you get the feeling that there's something else lurking underneath her morals. And this has been clearly visible so far. The developer and his team did a very good job here.

I have been following this game since it's initial launch. I also send support on it's major updates. This review is posted at the 4.0 launch.

I see a lot of complaining about "short" updates. This games update cycle is 2 smaller updates followed by a larger update. The smaller updates take about a month to release, while the larger one is about 2 months. The larger update is bigger than the previous two updates combined in the same amount of time. You can wait for a major amount of content every 4 months (2 smaller + larger update combined). That's 3 major updates per year... I see other games (not naming) that produce only 1 medium sized update a year... The dev team works their butts off for this project and deserve every bit of their success.

I see reviews that mention the lack of an original story. Well, duh?! This is a porn game, not something trying to win the most thought out and amazing original score ever created on the face of the planet. The story is passable for some of the best looking renders in the porn genre. Not to mention the main character is very easy on the eyes...

Are you going to find the most original thought out story ever created on the face of the planet in this PORN game? No... but is it passable? Yes. There is also some nice light comedy mixed in if your brain functions enough with its blood loss to another head of yours to actually pick up and enjoy it.

Remember folks, read the tags. If you don't like the tags this game has, then move on; no one is forcing you to play the game. You review bomb a game because it has a tag you don't like is just a reflection of how dumb YOU really are.

The renders are very well crafted and posed with the aniamation right behind. I am not sure what is causing the renpy to be.. erm, "slow" ? on loading and progressing screens but I assume its the fuckton of resolution in those pictures causing that.
That being said, it is very nice artwork to look at.

For the story being told, I find it enjoyable, but that takes a more personal opinion to fit.

Short content. Not enough spicy content. The game had the potential to be very highclass but with just all the short updates, it leaves a void.

More sexscenes with Mike, Dean, the creepy neighbor, anything really.

One of the best AVN games of this type. Amazing thriller story and you want more and more. I need more story on the beach or Madisson pole dance lesson with Riley. Developer please keep it up it,s good work!

That game was a nice surpise... here my Pro/Cons:

Pro:
- Good story,
- very good graphic and MC
- and even a nice gameplay, which is not very often the case
- not tooo picky about which day and time to be at a certain place


Con:
- too short, more content please

Not the most unique of stories, but done well. Wife gets more corrupted trying to save husband's debt.

Great renders and like the pace of corruption. Wish there were more branching as the story feels a tad linear, but still worth checking out 100%

I like the fact that different story lines follow a slow ramp-up corruption (ie you cannot finish a story line while you haven't started another one)

Really awesome game! Better then most corruption VNs out there, easy to follow story and really well done scenes! Can't wait to see what future updates bring and just how far the protag will go with them!

An outstanding corruption game - deserves a much higher rating!

Great renders, MC is gorgeous, very very hot scenarios with great use of the typical tropes, a reasonable, realistic story that keeps you just interested to want to know what happens next.

Sandbox is maybe a little unnecessary and the timing of certain quests / events is just a bit off (I had a moment briefly in the middle of my playthrough where I thought I had completed everything there was to do before getting my next event and then realizing I still had a lot to play).

Definitely check this one out and can't wait for updates!

exciting game, played for the first time today, can't wait for the next update, highly recommended, spectacular graphics, fantastic plot, well deserved 5 stars, I recommend playing them and trying it you won't regret it

The game looks beautiful with amazing renders and very fluid animations. There's enough things to do in the city to justify sandbox workout making it overwhelming. The Creator is very communicative and quick with updates making for a fantastic experience where you're not waiting a year to continue the story. The story has a slow burn to it but not to the point it's excruciating, it feels realistic as a woman being tempted to cross lines but giving you the decision instead of the typical good house wife just decides to start slinging her box around.

Pros:
-Story
-renders are amazing
-most characters act realistic and not overly corrupt
-female protagonist done right
-fast updates

Cons
-some male characters are just ugly (I know we don't play to look at the men but it has to be said)
- not a ton of lewd scenes (yet)
- there is a little grind to make a certain amount of money each week but it never feels like it hinders the game

Overall if you're looking for a female protagonist game that's not just a slutty bimbo jumping on every dick she sees and actually plays like a real story this is definitely one to check out

The only notes I leave are 5s. I benefit here for free from the work of others and it seems indecent to me to lower an already very low average sometimes. This game is magnificent and extremely well balanced. Riley is a pearl protected for too long under the shell of a comforting oyster. Everything about her is beauty and audacity, charm and curiosity. The rating of 5 means that this game starts off with a very high level of fun and holds up throughout. The offer to choose whether or not to lie to the conciliatory husband is appreciable, but the guy asks nothing better than to share. Besides, a little choice to reward him a little rather than promising him a future as a definite loser could be a good possibility. In short, this game is a must to play if you appreciate these tags

This game is perfect for me. There are great renders, good story, there's a good balance of the woman's perspective, exploitation. sometimes i feel these games are poorly written and too exploitative but SoD is perfect.

A very complete game, with many cool scenes! The story is very good and we can see how the corruption progresses in the protagonist; and the outfits are very sexy, being what the viewer is looking for. Congratulations on the game, keep it up!

CURRENTLY NOT RECOMENDING - game is good, just needs more content and it will 100% flourish. (The worlds needs Riley Hscenes)
Classic story - husband takes on debt, you (Riley) has to take care of it
Riley slowly gets corrupted whilst chasing cash - flirting with bar patrons, more donations on stream etc.
Good: Quest log, Hscenes (Not of Riley), good models + renders, amount of characters - with different things going on, slow corruption
Bad: Needs ALOT more content (especially scenes of Riley), cycle game-play gets boring (school -> work -> work -> maybe quest at specific time)
Story - 6/10
Play as Riley married to Mike. Mike has a big debt, this is where Riley has to manage some of the cost in a weekly manner.
Corruption of Riley - slow pace corruption i.e. stumbling on illicit sexual relationships, flirting with bar patrons -> note: Riley doesn't get near full corruption (no sex scenes of her - i think)
Riley - Very friendly and outgoing - meets people all around the world. Going around doing odd jobs to fit the weekly quota. Gets slowly corrupted throughout the game.
Mike - Cuck - kind of pathetic, does anything for money i.e. pretty much letting Riley doing anything to anyone for cash
Other characters - all other characters want to fuck Riley - all of them have their own thing i.e. Streaming, rich, college friends etc.
Renders + models - 10/10
Riley - Probs one of the hottest models i've seen
Other characters not on the same level as Riley, but still good on the eyes
Backgrounds - no complaints good quality
Sound - 7/10
Classic copyright free music - enjoyable enough

Sandbox - most things should be easy enough to spot and click - some QoL: home teleport, minimap access, very good quest tracker. Some bad things: Bouquet clothes store opening times?, repetitive cycle grinding for money, dance mini-game (weird ddr in porn game bruh)

A lot of characters - core starter characters have pretty good, albeit short storylines - rest have almost no content

Nice Game, maybe the protagonist is a little too dumb ... the graphics is very good. Maybe there is needed some minor adjustment about her sometimes she is too prude and sometimes she is too much slut.

The game removed supernatural plot elements as much as possible, and created an environment full of difficult choices and temptations, describing a female character with a slight sexual hobby and a complete personality who gradually became corrupted because of small interests. Although there are some inappropriate things, the characterization and graphics of this game are of high quality, which left a good impression on me.
