Please, please, please, it's not a complaint, just my own foul taste. And getting attached those old images I've seen a thousand times.
But here is one, from Amber, 00087.
Some of the Amber redos were for cases that they were very low quality images, on in this case the neck was too long and the head/neck junction was too obvious. And the face ligthing was too dark. The neck/head stuff can usually be fixed by smoothing things out but the face lighting can't. So meant creating a new face and plugging the new face into the old images. I tried to create the face fro the old one to keep it similar but sometimes the AI does its own thing.
Not remakes, but here are a couple from a later image pack that look a bit cartoonish to me:
For the first one, it's the big eyes that give that effect. The second is mainly the lighting, I think. I can't find an example at the moment but I think some of these later ones have slightly oversized heads as well. It's pretty subtle.
Those are very good catches. Those two images came from me trying different checkpoints (the source of the images used to train the AI). There are probably like 20 such images that are a bit different in that regard and yes they are less realistic. It's not what I would think when you say cartoonish but I can see now how that term would also apply. But that was back probably for the D/E image packs not any of the recent ones.
new update installed and when I try to hire an employee I get to the end and select the wage amount and nothing happens. Anybody know why?
When I opened up the debug menu I see invalid dialog replacement code '2oN' (3 args given)
Could be a bug. Haven't seen it but the accepting an offer was changed quite a bit to handle slaves having to accept and the minimum wage stuff. I haven't seen it, so anyone else that sees it and can provide additional context would be appreciated.
That dialog replacement code error is not specific to that (see further down for explanation on that)
Found a bug. My club's fame is always displaying 50 even though events happen that were supposed to have increased it (condoms upgrade, positive review of bartender). Is it just a display issue or is fame mechanic not working?
50 is the minimum it can be. But internally the math can indicate that it's 30. In which case we make it 50. But that means that you can do something that adds 10 points of fame, so the math now says its 40, which is still below the minimum so it remains at 50.
Here is a suggestion, you have an amateur night contest, there should be an option for a hosting a gambling tournament you could hold where you set the stakes and and invite people to play winner takes all with the option to play yourself.
Also the way gambling works, we should have the option to ask for higher stakes not just lower or back out or accept.
Interesting. Will consider it! The first part. The second part would be too overpowered. You being able to pick very high stakes each time would make it very easy to gain slaves.
Has anyone been able to trigger a slave interaction yet? I've seen the Very High Stakes choice a few times, but making someone a slave was never an option.
Ok, so there's a bug preventing this from happening. I added a fix to prevent a slave from becoming someone else's slave at the last minute and I screwed it up (mental note to stop doing last minute changes!). Instead is doing the opposite, only allowing a slave if they are already one. I can probably post a one-file download to fix it.
All of the 'official' packs are drawing upon the same characteristics to the point where you can point out a dozen chicks with the same nose, regardless of race etc.
I jokingly pointed out some 'twins' in the past, and that potential only appears to be growing.
I prefer the AI generated images over the imported porn stars with fuckdoll faces etc, but it seems the process has reached its limit. There's a few chicks with exactly the same face, but different body composition for example.
You are more right that you realize. I been trying different things to create more variety on the faces, but yeah, it seems that we have exhausted all posibilities. I've been looking for a new checkpoint to use. The problem is that too many checkpoints include too many "anime" images as models and that creates the cartoonish effect that some are complaining about. It also takes a while to get to know the right keywords and tags to use.
Potential Bug-Report
I lost a bet and now have to give up 10% of my revenue. I made the person I lost the bet against disappear from the mob. I can no longer interact or write to him via the contacts. But he still collects the money every month.
Oh yeah didn't think of that. Will fix. (Props for a great way to solve that issue!)
Regarding deleting characters you don't want, I was thinking a solution which might be easier is another toggleable symbol like the green star, call it a black circle, which would overlay any of the symbols. I might use it for all characters I don't want to deal with, like workers I've fired for stealing, or some other issue, but it could just as easily be used for role playing purposes, like tracking former government officials or whatnot. I suspect it would be tough to add, but probably easier than a way to delete characters on demand.
I have a question about the family with the incestual relationship, I got that to show up, but before I decided I didn't like too many key characters and decided to start over, I never got it to do more than repeat the same three or so meetings. Is this something which only goes farther if I let the father molest the MC or his date? Or do I need to just let it run for a year or more? Or is there some other criteria which must also apply? I thought it was going to be a legal attack on the club, claiming work contracted for but not paid for in the courts, and I thought I was seeing hints that he wanted his women hired at the club to be his eyes and ears, but when I expanded and tried to hire them to advance the plot, nothing happened.
The reason I decided I could go no longer was that I was trying to make good use of the PI, but he was a he, a nudist and a don juan who was always screwing someone in the bathroom, and got tired of seeing him. Might be nice to have a starting game toggle to make at least some of the game process characters lock into only women, if we're going to have to deal with them for quite a few hours. I know some should be male, but maybe a bit fewer would be a good option.
Will look into the hiding characters suggetions. It won't be easy like you said but I can see the use for it.
For the investors family you need to get the investor to like you more. The number of scenes available depends on how much he likes you. As it goes up, there will be addtional opportuities to increase it. You don't have to let him molest you or your date to make progress, but it helps. There's a bunch of steps, and it takes around a year to complete. Longer if your club is not advanced enough and have to build the auxillary office. But as long as his opinion keeps growing you will be making progress. Also try to bring the same date each time. The she liking them and vice versa also helps.
And here's a hint: when someone you want to like you more birthday comes up, always send them the big gift. That adds a possibly overpowered +20 opinion modifier. Don't lose that opportunity when it comes up.
You can change the male probability via the in-game options. However, there's some benefit to having males in some roles. It doesn't matter for the PI but male commissioners are more likely to pass the stripper laws faster than straight females.
This was addressed in the change log. In the past the incestous sex gossip was saved missing the target. The text to discuss it didn't included it, just said that "Jess had incestous sex". For 1.10 it fixed so that the target is saved and displayed. But gossips created before 1.10 don't have the person they had sex with. So it shows up as ??? in with the new dialog string that expects a target. As well as on the player details page. This also explains a bunch of those dialog replacement code errors in the log.
