Nearly half of their paying customer said the game is not worth recommending so :LUL:

That statement is factually inaccurate. Around 70% of the negative reviews are from Chinese review bombers, which is why Steam flags the entire Subverse review section as "off-topic." These reviews have nothing to do with the actual gameplay, but I guess checking the details doesn’t matter when making claims about a game's reception, right?

As a proud Kickstarter backer, I couldn't be happier to support Subverse, the best-selling NSFW game out there.

And continuing with a somewhat more normal conversation... without it having to do with saves or controversy in the best possible way...

Is the addition of another character now the end of this project, or is there any hope of bringing in more characters and the most desired princess/empress?

Or, as I half remember reading a while ago, is it a closure and they'll just go back to making videos?
There have been hints on Steam and Discord from the developers that the Celestina DLC is already in production.

Any future content will depend on the game’s sales and the customers demands. Many have already made their thoughts known regarding Celestine so it wouldn’t surprise me if it was being planned or worked on.

It would probably be some time though given the devs they’d brought on have likely gone on to another project, so they’ll have to work with what they got.

My hope is they can balance the game updates with movie making to make both of their audiences happy.

Really is unfortunate all that was brought on because FOW initially decided they’d only do one version for Chinese (something about traditional/modern spelling) and that of all things is what brought on the review bombing.

Lo and behold the first of the translations they’re doing is the Chinese one. They better show up with their wallets for the effort they’re putting in.

Did I say anything about the gameplay? I said nearly half of the paying customer recommended negative, I don't care if they are review bombers or not.
And Candy Crush made nearly 8 billion dollar, so whats your point?
