Basically, it's highly likely that we won't be getting new playable updates in the future (like the files we've been receiving in the author's subsequent update). This is because the author wishes to focus on updating the game instead of spending more time / resources to compile and design new playable demo for every updates introduced into the game. He'll still be updating the status of his work on his Ci-en and Social Media.

You can still keep in touch with the author's work over here:

Sauce for the author's cancellation of paid plans and playable demos in subsequent updates:
Oh ok, so in reality we will be getting updates only when a new complete version comes out, right?

Do we have enough of a game (sequel) to set-up a translation request or might it be better to wait for a semi-completed vers at least?

Feel like it'd be better to wait to translate it when it's actually done-done, although if you've played the first game you can probably guess what's being said in the dialogue. Still, it's nice to have English for the tutorials and other various item descriptions.

I disagree with that. Translating it as we go gives us time to digest the story as well as something to talk about between updates. If it were all translated at once we would just play it through and move on to the next thing. This way the game can also be about the friends we make along the way.

That's actually a pretty good point, as far as games that have multiple demo releases goes.

Do we know who fan translated the first game the initial time around?

this game is peak ngl. i want to search for more games like these but guess this type of stuff havent been much sadly
Succubus Affection and Lost in the World of Succubi are both similar in their theming, although they're sidescrollers rather than top down. There's also Castle of Temptation but that's more of a puzzle platformer than an action game. I'll link all three below in case you haven't seen them before:

I especially like Succubus Affection since you don't have to deliberately lose to enemies to see the ero scenes.

Definitely wish there's more of this type of game laying around, where you fight the bosses and ending up with a defeat CG scene for either the player or the boss. I also love the author's pixel art and animations, they look pretty great

Huh. Hadn't thought of it that way. Hard to argue with that.

I was just thinking, having played the previous game, and knowing that one mostly boiled down to a lot of teasing dialogue that didn't quite hit it for me, I've got a hunch what most of the dialogue will be here too. I liked the concept, but there just feels like something is off with the execution.

But when I think about it, you're right. If someone with bilingual skills took interest in translating this game, it really wouldn't be that hard for them to go update-by-update.
