I'm not blaming you bud, I know you're trying. I'm aggravated at the situation since I've now put in over 6 hours of work to make a correct v4.5 Full patch for the mod but folks running unmodded are screwed until I get the mod update done I guess. I'll provide an un-modded version of the corrected patch once I'm done. Regards.

If I remember right, Ocean was worried about the upcoming Steam release. First impressions are key and the first two chapters weren't worthy of the quality he has reached in newer content. I can understand his point of view. I think he promised this would be the only rework of the game. Let's see how things will pick up after the rework is done in Chapter 5 full. He has been doing a lot of quality content for the rework, and then all of that work will be only for new content!

but he is not only doing a rework, he is changing the story too, we got 2 new characters this update, the red white hair...wtv that seems to be a friend of Sasha and Robin,and Eva, who´s strong first impresion dissapear right after cause we dont see her again, oh, and an incident that looks like a set up for some problems later.
Also, by what u are saying, then we have 1 more update of rework, 2 if the next one is as small as this one, cause he needs to rework many scenes like the game when MC gets his balls crushed, the night with Bella or Nami, victoria´s breakdown, the second visit to Bella´s house and im sure im forgeting a couple scenes more.

nothing like that, however there are some changes in dialogue/renders in C2 that are wroth for a replay imo

The lewdpatcher crap is a 1 GB something .apk

the "crap" is clearly for the android version, and its labled as that too...

Other than that, yeah the actual patch for PC is missing in the lewdpatcher, however the old patch still works, i still have this file and i didnt saw any hiccups... And no i cant upload it for you, sry.

Changes in this update:

- Original song in bibi Nika and Summer's cinematic has been changed.
- New scene with Nika and Bella: Staring battle.
- We meet Robin in a classroom.
- We get another scene with Sasha and Robin sitting with Nika before he has to go join Bella for the school project.
- Memory of bibi Nika, Summer and Cheeto drinking espresso.
- New scene where Nika confronts/meets Mila's bullies.
- New intimate moment scenes (No, not sexual) between Nika and Noji.
- Nadia's look have been changed in the rework (goodbye hat), our first interaction with her while joining Bella changes, we also meet Eva.
- Apparently, and I'm not 100% sure, now we're unable to avoid mentioning the bullies to Bella, so the scene where she invites you to take revenge on them unavoidable now, but you can still choose whether you join her or not (Correct me if I'm wrong in this one).
- New scene where Nika meets a mysterious woman who is visiting Amber, when he's working with Bella in the project. (Amber didn't seem amused by their interaction).
- Fight cinematic with the douche interested in Nami removed, it's only stills now (Shame, liked that one).
- We have new lines with Maja noticing Nika's panic attacks (this might be not new, correct me if I'm wrong).

Besides that, there's no new content/story progession since the last update. There's only the rework of earlier chapter, some dialogue and scenes added, some scenes and cinematic removed, some songs changed.

Don't forget the Wiggly...new update in CH 2

I didn't have a lot of them missing, but I definitely noticed it pop up a few times. (got mine from RPDL).

There is no current proper patch. If you'd read only the last page or two in this thread you'd come to realize that the only patch out in the wild is for Beta dated November. But fret not, I took the time today to properly port the patch to Ch4.5 Full for SanchoMod. Once I'm done with the mod update, if the patch isn't updated in the OP I'll supply a non-modded version for folks who roll virgin. That's how we roll.... you do you modded or unmodded don't matter to me.

FYI: Folks saying the patch they have works is because they are playing from an updated Beta version. If you apply the Beta patch to a new Full install it will fail every time. The dev changed many of the music files since November and the old patch still calls the old ones, not the new ones... plus you don't get the 1200+ grammatical and bug fixes since beta in the Beta patch. Just sayin' for completeness.

Someone bright with a very high IQ level decided to upload on Lewdpatcher the 4.5 beta IC patch for Android, deleting the PC patch for full version in the process that was available before.

I have confirmed that this is for Ch 4.5 (the labels lists includes the new labels from the Ch 2 rework).

Note that this patch was uploaded to Mediafire from Germany, before the update leaked at f95.

I haven't tested it or played the update yet, so can't comment on any errors it may have. It's not uncommon for the 'official' patch to have discrepancies vs the main game scripts.

I'm so disappointed! Summers Gone has been one of my favourite games from the first release, but everytime ocean takes a second pass at the story it gets a little worse, a little less interesting, the characters suffer. the writing becomes a bit less natural and we lose impactful choices that create Nikas personality.
Nika used to range from a nice guy trying to get his life back together to a genuine crazy person, now I guess he is just a scared kid who flip flops on if he wants friends.
Bella's character is the biggest victim in this latest update though, she went from being unable to control her emotions and compulsively violent to a rich prankster who is constantly dominated by Nika. Seriously she tripped during the staring contest.
Jeff was rewritten awkwardly too with his shower talk about dreams.
Nojiko's talk about her boyfriend also went from feeling natural to totally out of the blue!
Even with all the changes I don't dislike the game, but honestly, when Nika asked Bella who her neighbours were and she asked why he said, "I want to pick on them." Like thats just something a human being would say.... the game isn't as good as it used to be.

I just looked at it... it's the one for Beta... it is not the one for Full. Appreciate the effort though. My post here will help folks see the differences (just one of ~1200 differences).

Bud, there's over 1,200 differences between that old patch and the Full OEM scripts... I just scanned it. It's not just the songs. It's a boatload of grammatical changes, all the new persistent file unlocks for images to the OEM gallery, etc. That old patch is broken like all the others... they are all the same ones.

It's not common for the "official" patch to have 1,200 differences... that's never happened before with this VN so I'd say it uncommon practice. Hell, the patch has the player unlocking a Vanessa image in Ch2 when it's clearly in Ch4 of the Full VN. It's a beta patch meaning it's not done correctly has been my whole point. Regardless I've sorted it 100% for the pending mod update. I'll release a non-modded version of the fully functional, exact dialogue (except what's expected to be altered) to the current non-Patched Full VN when I'm done with the mod update. That'll end all confusion and give folks the exact experience they would have playing the Full VN but having a proper "iPatch" included.

I'm not trying to argue... I'm the one who is actually working on a proper solution tbh. I know you know what's what and you know I do to... we've both worked our asses off fixing VN's so please don't take my posts as attacking you in any way... that's not what this is.
