CH 5 Full (rework of CH 2 finishes + any other updates in CH 3 - 3.5 needed for continuity, I have not seen anything mentioned about continuity issues in CH 4)

Summers Gone Season 1 (Ch 1 - 5) Steam release.

The rework is specifically focused on making Summers Gone shine for the Steam release, so I am unaware of any other reworking, post Ch 5, given this focus.

In short, it is better to wait for 5 full and play all at once.

Good work. For a second, I really thought you might find that as an in-game Easter egg. I had to laugh. Thanks for that.

Still super salty that it had the absolute opposite effect on me. Was looking forward to get it on Steam. Had it wishlisted for like a year, maybe more. And the last update nearly killed all my interest in the game. Don't even feel like giving WiaB a chance anymore I'm so disappointed. Freaking wish I could forget how much better the game was pre-reworks gaahhhh.

I agree, I much preferred the edgy MC. To me he lost much of the appeal, to give an example, the pajama party in Vicky house felt too lovey dovey for how he was before, and how I imagined the guy. The remake also change my overall vibe of the game a bit. I wish we still had a "dark path".

The story still good and I'm not going as far as dropping like you are thinking but it definitely took a turn for the worse after the remakes IMO.

Had it wishlisted for a year? How you did that? It was add to steam wishlist in december, 13. There's been only 3 months.

Me too! I quit playing WiaB when the rework happened, so I didn't know if this was really in there or not. I got the joke, but thought it might me Ocean's work. I read through it three times before being convinced.

Yeah, I was just praying people noticed the spoiler title (plus, 'Love Custard' is a British euphemism, not German). I 'ruined' my installation of WIAB, changing a portion of the script and accompanying images...

Although tongue in cheek, it does hint at some intriguing possibilities as to where Ocean may go with the overall story (SG and WIAB), particularly if the reworked WIAB continues along the same lines of the old version 6...

Hard to tell. In a sense, WIAB is the opposite of SG. There are porny bits right off the bat and less relationship building there. Another big difference for me is that in SG you start from scratch, the MC is not familiar with any of the main characters of the game except Nami and Nojiko and meets most of the characters for the first time at the beginning of the game, in WIAB your MC knows most of the characters at the beginning and has a history with them that is revealed from one scene to the another. I personally don't like WIAB's approach in this case. And as far as I remember, in the old WIAB I didn't like the first couple of chapters, but then the story rolled and became quite interesting. In the new WIAB, only these first two chapters are ready. But they are deeply reworked, the plot has been significantly changed and the renders, of course, are outstanding. So it's up to you to decide.

well to be honest at first I wasn't too happy about having a girlfriend at the beginning
because that's not me I'm not that kind of guy I hate that

but then I remembered I had a girlfriend in the original version to

then I saw that you don't have to do anything with Miru just because she's your girlfriend

and then ocean said depending on your choices you can end things on friendly terms with her

so it didn't bother me anymore I focused all my attention on Leia
