Ok, I may get killed for this, but here goes. . .
I downloaded the newest version and everyone is saying there's all this new content, but when I open the game and go to my save (where Bella and the MC are in the car) it just says that's it for content.
Do I need to do a new playthrough?
Or am I doing something tragically wrong?
I'm willing to own up to either of those.

Interesting combination render&text. Is this a clue, a misdirection or am I just reaching here? What if Katie is actually Nika's mother? Right now I'm 99% sure William is the dad, it's the mother I'm not so sure about.

Is it Android? On PC it should work from the last save if the last version you played was chapter 4.5 full. If it's Android then it's obvious why it ended there (that's the last version that's uploaded here).

I dont know if i wish for it, depends how its done i guess. But Nika and Nami being related to the Zane's is a theory since the start of the game and nothing new or surprising. But my guess is yeah, i think his parents and summer are all still alive.

It would be nice if the dev starts adding a recap of what happened before each chapter as I have a general idea of the story. But the little details are missing after some time passes, and I don't want to repeat the entire game just for the small details.

It's an interesting theory, but now that we know that William, Katie and Leia are alive and well I don't think it makes that much sense anymore. Why would they abandon either the MC or Nami? I can't think of any logical reason for it. I guess one of them could be William's child that he doesn't know about. They made him out to be a manwhore after all. But as far as Katie or Leia being the mother I find that very unlikely.

I think I replayed the whole game 5 times this years.

Do you guys think sasha knew/remembers nika before college started? The way she sometimes looks at him indicates it and nika made a comment like that the first time he saw her too.

No. It's obvious from their interactions at ZPR that Nika & Nami didn't know Sasha previously. Like the rest of the book club members, Sasha would have known they existed beforehand because Nojiko talks about them.

Just a question, why is the developer adding renders to previous chapters? Do you recommend playing the game from the beginning now?

The dev has been reworking the earlier chapters due to a desire to change the tone of the early chapters, update the graphics for consistency with later chapters, and in Ch5 removing parts which showed genitals to satisfy changes in music license terms & release Season 1 as Non-Adult (maximise the possible audience).

You should wait for Ch5 full to come out before replaying the game. The final part of the rework won't be included until Ch5 full. The dev has also said saves shouldn't be made in Ch5 beta, they are unlikely to work in Ch5 full. You'll need to have played Ch5 full in order to create save export(s) for season 2.

It's been covered in the thread but here is a short explanation:

Ocean needed to make minor changes to a few scenes (hiding Vic and the MC's privates - typically with a minor change in perspective in the renders) prior to the Steam release.

There may be someone modding these images back into SG for F95, much like the music that had to be removed due to licensing issues now has a music mod (I have not tried this one yet, so I am only going by the discussions about it).

Ocean needs to make sure that there is No reason Steam has to take down SG once it is released.

There are a lot more details surrounding everything being done in advance of the Steam release, but they are spread over Many pages on this thread - and it had gotten Much more active with the new release.

I can understand all that, but we are in the same, when this game has explicit scenes what will happen? it will be removed from steam? or the game has become a development without future sexual scenes by steam?

I love the story and what gets to immerse the background of the characters, but if in the end it will become a +13 game, I'll leave it aside.

Well, it's perfectly fine if you want to replay it from the beginning. I've rewatched some things that I love 4–5 times this year alone when I feel like it. It's just giving people more choices about how they prefer to play. Some like to replay things, others prefer to just play the new content without full playthough. It's all coming down to preferences, and having more options cannot possibly be bad. And it's not like it will take weeks to implement but a couple of hours at most and will help people remember quickly where we are at after a long pause.

Seriously, it's like trying to follow other Mafia-centered stories like The Guardian or The Deluca Family. I mean devs can make what they want, but this happens on alot of AVNs that don't deserve that A and should get a no sexual content tag (tits doing nothing but hanging there doesn't count). Another one with ok story but no sex is A Father's Sins (MC is a priest, you can pretty much infer no sex scenes). The dev was getting so much heat for that he ended up making an extra Going To Hell version (non-canon sex-scenes-that-didn't-happen releases) to keep from losing subs. For this one if someone besides Ocean reverse engineered the models and assets and turned it into more A and less VN I'd be over the moon.
