Incest patch gets thread incest tag.... it's also under genre.

And the thread originally had said tag, so typically it would have been removed for not having either any proper incest content, or patch broken.

Like even "Another chance" which actually has no incest... yet has incest tag, because it can be "implied" (despite always calling the characters by their name, and there being zero mention of familial connection, and to my knowledge the incest patch has been broken for years now).

That may be the case for that game that "implies" incest. This game does not have incest in it. You have to apply an unofficial patch to make it have incest. I don't make the rules, I am just stating the fact that there is no incest tag and no incest in this game.


If I am searching for a game and I want to exclude the "incest" tag, I do not want a bunch of games omitted from that search simply because someone created a patch to change what the developer created.

Uhhhh.... I sorta get the point you're going for here... but this is a piracy forum... sooo, doesn't really apply that way.

Also... Poorly kept secret, like 90% of the games with an incest patch, it is "unnofficial" The dev makes it with an alt, or has a fan/friend do it Soooo... technically canon, but not Officially canon... cause censorship and payment...

The patch isn't dead, simply looking at the lewdpatcher would tell you it was updated for Ch5 beta. It covers the same content as the main script.

There isn't sex in either, so shouldn't qualify for the incest tag for the same reason it doesn't have the sex tag imo.

The patch has had multiple problems over the years where changes in the main game haven't been properly applied in the patch. In the latest release there were bugs in the patch, which Sancho released hotfixes for. The patch author continues to not supply the rpyc file with it, which is one of the reasons people encounter broken saves when using it.

Smart devs don't openly say they created the patch, because that would constitute evidence which could be given to Patreon to take the game down.

Yep, I've seen that. In the case of this game, the patch has to be rescripted and there are often mistakes that would be unlikely to happen if Ocean made the patch himself. Pure speculation there, but I think the reasoning is sound.

To be honest, the incest patch has more of a naming problem, and would rather be called a relationship patch. Because the first season does not contain sex scenes, but many conversations between Nojiko and MC, or Nami and MC make more sense if you use the patch.

Throughout the first season, they portrayed Bella as the Main LI, and all the cinematics were made for her throughout the season. This gained her a significant fan base, making her the majority's favorite. Bella is my second favorite, and I have no problem with that. However, if Ocean reduces Bella's content in the upcoming chapters, they may receive a serious backlash.

Ocean wrote the script and he makes Nojiko look better than other doctors. I have nothing to do with it.

On Nojiko's wealth, she could very well be a lot more wealthy than she let's on. Take the book club throw away line from Jenna about "Maybe Nojiko did the right thing after all" after Nika mentioned that Nami doesn't take any shit either. It could be that she's chosen to go down a more humble upbringing for them. Why that could be, who knows. Maybe bring them up with humility? A promise to parents? Or trying to keep distance from drama?

On Nami and Nika, I'm beginning to think that they're not direct siblings but half siblings in some way but together, they're some sort of glue or maybe even embarrassment to a subset of the elite families. On Nami, I'm also beginning to wonder if her cute Cheeto persona she puts out hides a vicious or other devious streak. She may not pay attention as Nika does, but when it comes to navigating certain interpersonal relationships, I'm wondering if she's far more capable than she lets on in manipulating people.
