Playing the game slowly so I can see if I missed anything. I am right now up to the book club scene. From Nojikos conversation to Kate leads me to believe Kate might be Nika and/or Nami mother. Reason why I have this theory is when Nika arrives they knew he was coming and Nojiko told Kate you haven't been here for months it's no coincidence you came today. Stay away . Kate says it's not for you to decide. Then she approaches Nika and Nami. At first I thought the argument was about the book club till I paid attention to everything that was said from the moment they showed up. But hey just a theory

Here in South America, everyone uses Steam and also plays pirated games when the game here is very expensive, which is what they generally earn in Europe, for example: 10 dollars per hour, here you earn that on a working day.

Besides, the problem with this type of game, which is the Western AVN "industry" is the model of subscription payment for the dev to make content in x intervals. I would dare say a majority wouldn't have a problem making a payment for a full game. Hell, I have tons of Japanese visual novels I buy because I get the full game. Any AVN I can get on Steam, I do too, as it usually receives updates too.

Katie didn't know in advance that Nika was going to the bookclub because Nika announced his decision to go just as Nojiko and Nami were departing. Only Nami was originally going to attend the meet with Nojiko.

If you've followed SG from the beginning, you'll know that the render quality has increased in fits and starts. The original Chapters 1 to 3.5 contain renders that are visually of a lower quality than those from chapters 4 onward.
Ocean remade chapters 1 and 2 entirely and initially reworked only parts of chapters 3 and 3.5. Personally, I'd have no problem with Ocean reworking most, if not all of 3 and 3.5 to ensure visual consistency ahead of the Season 1 Steam release.
Well, it is the enticing part of the bookclub scene - why is Katie interested in Nami and Nika?
Intriguing scenario: Katie is interested because of Nika/Nami's parentage. Mundane scenario: Katie - as part of the cadre involved in the ZPR basketball teams - is interested because she heard Nika was a basketball ace at High School.

I think at this point, most of 3/3.5 has been spruced if not redone. The bar scene is the last holdout of the old aesthetic I think. I wouldn't want Ocean to touch the scene after the Relucia diner, the whole Bella army would hunt him down.
Seeing the two earrings are in the same room, it could well be both. The earrings symbolise some form of Zane interest that has nothing to do with sports, and is a long term interest. The 'see you around' is casual enough to mean anything.
If it wasn't for Nami's earring, we'd only have our theories to justify our suspicions: the earring and Noji's desire to keep Nika away, while not being worried about keeping Nami away. Actually thinking it through aloud, Noji's attempt to keep Nika away shows that her worry is about the Zane influence on Nika, not Nami, so her concern is something unique to Nika that has nothing to do with Nami, and has nothing to do with any Zane connection that the earring symbolises. Nami's Zane connection is considered 'safe' by Noji. Also, Noji's been keeping the book club quiet for longer than they've been at ZPR, while still hanging out at the book club that Katie and Leia go to. Strange behaviour if Noji views the Zane's as dangerous. I don't socialise and drink wine with people I don't trust.
Being aware that some posters aren't english native, emojis help communicate the tone of a post to avoid miscommunication. It's quite courteous in my opinion. If that was the worst 'crime' here, this thread'd be 100% butterflies and unicorns.
I took away a much simpler reason Nojiko didn't want Nika at bookclub - one that's implicitly referred to throughout the scene:

Well, of course. Superficially though. The most obvious reason is that she doesn't want Nika knowing she's known Amber for months if not years. Amber's a close friend of Stephanie, we might find that her path starts via the book club, or at least via that social circle.
Also there are two of the major partners of ZPR represented in the Petrovas and the Zanes present at the book club, and Nika and Nami weren't able to choose their college - the blurb on the steam and epic store pages suggest they were awarded a place without submitting for a scholarship. So Noji has probably pulled some strings in the bookclub, or ZPR specifically organised the scholarships. Either way, Noji is more than she admits or seems, and she's trying to keep the illusions in place for some reason.
Like I inferred previously, the scholarships could be as mundane as basketball-related. I personally don't think so, but logic doesn't rule it out.

I don't think so - the fact that Nika isn't guaranteed a place on any team argues against it, as well as the extra curricular training that's off the books. Whatever the scholarship is, Nami's is also covered. Currently in sports they're playing with Mila and Nia, who have no interest - it makes it seem a very general sports class. Also, Nika wasn't certain he'd even try out when talking with Jeff. If you had a scholarship for the sport, it's guaranteed you'll be doing the sport, and your whole curriculum pivots around that.
I'd say is more likely a discretionary scholarship, like Vic's.

ocean has a simple out about their going to college and not getting student loans...
She is supposedly a Surgeon/ER doc in NY which make ~400k usd/year; BUT he plays it like they are rather cash strapped compared to others... because Noji has been saving for college and doesn't carry a lot of debt.
all $ questions answered that he had failed to research prior. [doctors in usa make waaay more than the national average salary NY state even more so, cause its crazy expensive, especially near NYC]

I am tripping? I thought she was a nurse and not a fucking surgeon. I didn't know the avg of ER doctors in usa was ~400k tho. If she were any of the two specialties, then there is no need to save money, and moreso, she has a hell of connections to actually make big bucks as a doctor and not a normal doctor in a normal hospital.
An ivy college year tuition estimated cost is around ~75k. But with the salary that you said, it was really easy to get, even by paying it upfront and without prior interest of money set aside since she adopted them.
