This is a bit of a silly question, but which city is the game about, well, which city in the United States would be closer to the one where the game takes place ?
Its kinda... US-Germany if you want to call it like that.

Ocean ist from Germany so he is influenced by that, bread rolls, and some other things he gets out in his games that clearly are German things.

The college life and such things are obviously US-Inspired. There is no Sport-system like that in germany for colleges (we dont have college at all, its called university, and works a different way), sports does happen in school, but not like that, just part of the overall teaching shedule, for team sports and real competetive things you go into Clubs.

Overall, its a total fictional City and fictional Country as well.

The drinking habits with the age of 18 are total nromal in germany, but not in the US...

So yeah, the whole setting is a mix out of US and a bit of Germany/Europe, with a complete ficitonal City/Country. That goes for both his games.

A note to Linux peoples, use 7za to extract this one, this is not a standard zip archive.

Would be nice to know which "this one" are you talking about...

Oh yes, "SummersGone_Season1_Steam-pc_UPDATED.zip" seems to be a 7z file, not a zip. I never noticed since I use 7-zip to extract zips anyway.
My mistake, it's a regular zip after all.

Well ... it was packed as zip with the Windows 11 integrated zip tool. Atleast if it is still the original file i was uploading. Windows integrated zip tools are many times not working in Linux. ;)

If Ocean's neighbor ordered the exact same workstation from the same place, at the same time, it would've arrived on time with the cable. But maybe it did...
Worst. He would have received the two workstations and for B2B would checked as delivered. I trust him, this things happen but I would be looking at ways to clean the spirit.

I don't.

Yeah it doesn't really bother me and yes things like this can happen but for some reason, in Ocean's case, I actually believe he says/does these things on purpose.
Nah, I really don't think so. Does not make sense and in truth hurts his image. He could easily just said that everything arrived at
Thursday and everything would be fine. But he wants to be open so he talks about everything, and it can be seen as he is just making drama. I actually respect him for that but is probably not the best approach, it can really hurt his imagine. I talk about the salt bath half joking, but it can't really hurt and it does help.

My mistake, I didn't check it correctly yesterday. It's not a 7z file after all, just a regular zip. Sorry for the confusion, I must have been half asleep already.

Also, a reasonably new (that is, a 15 year old) unzip v6.00 (compiled and packaged for Ubuntu Jammy 22.04 LTS) unzips it just fine.

So I'm guessing, whatever the hell esoom was talking about, it wasn't the main game archive file "SummersGone_Season1_Steam-pc_UPDATED.zip". And we still have no clue what it actually was. :HideThePain:
