Doesn't really matter how long he's been working on season 2 ch1. Chapter 5 hasn't even been released for a full year, now with WIAB its been over a year, then I could understand then. Even then it's still 2 different games, its not as black and white as you make it to be.

When people find out that Ocean is making 2 games at the same time, they start thinking the same way as you, that these 2 games will not be finished. This is the simplest logical solution that comes to mind, so many, like you, stop donating or do not donate in the first place. Ocean has been told more than once that this scares people away by doing this and that it is better for him to focus his efforts only on one game, and after its completion, make another. But Ocean does not listen to anyone and does everything his own way, this reason for his stubbornness is not clear to anyone. My brain understands that this is a failure and Ocean will not be able to make SG and Wiab at the same time for many reasons. But my heart hopes that Ocean will succeed.

Is it true that a woman adopted two children and raised them and is thus in fact not a landlady, but a step mother? And the two kids grew up together, raised in the same house by said woman and are thus, step-siblings? And while I have your guys attention, what is the relationship if any between one "Nika Cyrus" and prominent Wollust native "William Zane"? And can you describe the relationship if any between Mr. Cyrus and Mr. Zane's daughter Ayua?

I mean, what do we know? We need an update to both to find out these answers, then we can cross-reference and debate non canon theories pulling material from abandonded pre-rework versions to make astounding conclusions. Gefritzel IS the trouser snake, and Willi is impotent.
At this point, that's just as likely as Nika actually having a penis.

I'm newish to posting around here, but this is one of 3-4 threads I've lurked around off and on.
Still not as bad in here as when Ocean announced he was cutting the Nami tub scene...then because of the fallout bailed from the forum.
a lot of the images are gone, from when you meet bella to trash the neighbor all the way to when you get a phone call. im guessing tis from either the lewd patches, or the ch 5 beta. if not then some one needs to fix this.

If you're using a patch for any version other than Season 1 full, it'll screw the game up. The uncut mod linked in the OP is the only one worth touching, I don't think anything else has been done that works properly with season 1 full.
Keep in mind that any mod has the potential to break your saves on import to season 2. Also, it's important to note that fan made mods can't predict what Ocean's story is, so some dialogue changes might actually not make sense later in the story.
