Not really a problem if it is set in the past. Look at the TV show Gotham. They drove late -80's cars, dressed like the late 40's, and used cellphones and computers from the 00's. So this universe could have the technology earlier than ours.

I wouldn't take time to seriously - think about it:

Victory has an accident and gets an OP, but is awake later in the wheelchair (no sign of anesthesia) - all on the same first day.
On the second school day (the day after tomorrow after the accident) she is already going (or better rollin') to school. No rehab (neither body or psyche) at all.

The coming out of the shell of the MC goes strangely fast. Even if he reached the point of his life where he is ready/met the right people to help him with this.

I guess you gotta time lapse, but it feels there would be some days between the scenes we see that are just no shown.

So best do what I do: Enjoy the ride and don't think about it to hard.

I'm so conflicted. Mila is such a fucking sweetheart and I want to commit to her path, but at the same time Bella- and I hate saying this because usually I hate girls like her (in games and real life)- but fuck is she irresistible. There's something about the way she's written, maybe partly because she and the MC are so weirdly perfect for each other that's just hard to resist.

Sadly there's no way to know. I also don't believe (I'm not 100% sure) that he has upgraded his technology yet. I believe I seen him discuss on his discord how his 3090 was still hitting its limits. And his patreon goal hasn't been reached yet apparently, so I don't think he has moved to better tech just yet.

But I'm not sure that tech is the problem, he's working on this game and remastering WIAB at the same time, so replying to your question, yes, you can probably expect chapter 4 around that date IF the current pacing continues.

Ah, thank you, thought I read in a comment or a patreon post someone shared that he'd already upgraded to something better and looking at how much he gets per month, from this and WiAB, I'd assumed he'd be able to, didn't see about the goal somehow, or that he was remastering WiAB instead of just continuing with it. Either way I expected we'd have to wait awhile for progress on either. His work is quality-especially in this-so I don't mind waiting for the same level of it.

I totally agree with you about the content of the lyrics.
But melodically it doesn't really fit (for me). I have played the song list of the film Donnie Darko while playing. And I personally think it fits the mood of the game perfectly...

Really love this game and the quality of it, the story the characters everything is perfect, but these slow updates are just sad man.. We waited over half a way for 3.5 and there wasn't even that much content, was rather short I don't know.. I guess for a normal update it wasn't short but for an update that took almost a freaking year to be released its really disappointing.. Dev seriously needs to work on this, I get that Summers Gone is a high quality VN, along with being a dik it's probably got the best quality I've scene, renders are perfect, the environment is perfect, animations are perfect, scene layouts are perfect and it pays attention to detail so obviously monthly updates is impossible with quality like that but waiting almost a year is just fucked up... I don't wanna be that guy to complain seeing that I'm not the one who's working on this game, I'm just another dude who enjoys playing it..but Im sure I speak for alot of people when I say this
Lol My kids will probably have to finish this game by the time it's done if the pace continues like this cause I'll be dead by then

But on a serious note tho, the dev should realy work on this, it's pointless trying to juggle two games when both barely gets updated..focus on SG alone and then come back to WIAB once SG completed

I've done the current build now. And i have to say, the game is a lot of fun. The renders are good, the girls great, all characters seem to be well developed and thought out. It is well written, and the dev evidently knows a thing or two about storytelling. I keep saying: storytelling is half the fun.

Everyone character has his/her own story. And obviously we have to choose who we are interested in. Frankly, we cannot have them all af them at once. And i think that's great, it promotes replay value. I generally have a fascination for VN. I will wait a few more dates, at least until the first sex. But if it goes on like this, the game has the potential to be one of my favorite VNs, along with BaDik and Free Pass.

The whole game he's been Mr Emo apathy "I don't care about anyone or anything, try me and I'll fight you right here", then at the end he just randomly loses his backbone for plot? Fuck off. So sick of authors using cheap dogsh*t writing like that.

I don't even care about the handcuff/stripping thing, as the MC said, he riled them up for the win, fairs fair, it was the foot thing at the end? The MC from earlier in the game would have grabbed her ankle and been like "I let you do this so we're even. Don't push your luck." Like, for a guy that's got such a hard-on for revenge plots against anyone who slights him, his sister, or even a friend, he's surprosingly become quite spineless all of the sudden.

because they are girls... you just can not go medieval on girls asses ... i mean you can but.... its not advisable he will get them back in a girly way as spreading rumours or leaking their 1st sex video or nude pictures but at that moment at agression on his part would end up with him becoming a woman beater!

do remember he was in the girls lockerroom so any agression and he had no plausible reason to be there beating up the bitches... besides his only witness was robin that was the cheese in the trap so anything he could have done would end up worse off for him and since he is a cynical cold hearted bastard as you stated there is nothing he could do except enduring whatever is to happen!

his only choice would have been to negate robin after he fallen for the trap even if he burst out the girls could just create a story that would hurt him in the college

fucking hell i discovered Victoria mother... its scarlet the doctor from where it all began! she is a younger carbon copy of the model! Since they are two cousins we only need to discover who is scarlet brother or sister to discover Maja lineage!

so unless Victoria as 2 older siblings scarlet children lucas and katrin were killed, the other option is scarlet being the grandmother of Maja and Victoria and thus victoria is katrin daughter and lucas is Maja father?

which makes Victoria and Ayua 4th or 5th degree cousins since kathie and lucas are 2nd degree cousins freaking hell this is getting more complicated then interwined!

also people talking about the smoking lady being summer? if she is related she is clearly related to Leia from WIAB and not summer!
