I only noticed on the last preview, I am not the best at notice this types of things, while I prefer the old version it did not bother me much. Was talking more like some characters behaving differently in the S1 than they did in the earlier versions, will not walk old grounds as I already have talked about, it but I liked Nami more before the rework.
Should have died.
The earlier versions had various uncanny facial expressions, but what was really scary about Vic was her demeanor. She looked obsessed and creppy and scary, she talked like she was not paralise and was really odd. Those things still are there but Ocean now can convey them in a much better way, Vic does not comes across as a psycho to me but someone who is dealing with too much and is choosing to focus on the bright side because other wise she would crumple. Ocean as a artist improve greatly but his skills as a storyteller also got much better, SG and WiaB has some of the best characters work that I have see in AVN. And old Summer looked way worse than old Vic

I will not stand to this slanders against the Cheeto, nothing wrong with liking rolls is perfectly normal as for the rest once S2 starts she will no longer need that, Nika will take care of all her needs.

I'm really curious how the relationship is going to play out if you pursued her solid and then stepped away at the last moment. She asks you to do it, but I have a lack of faith. The number of times I've been punished for doing exactly what a woman asked me to do are too innumerable.

Seeing that original Vic render reminds me how she'd give the original Bella a run for her money for the "Messed-up Bitch most likely to cut your dick off with pinking shears" award.
While original Vic gave me that clingy stalker vibe, I guess nothing will ever beat the psychotic glint in original Bella's eye as she plots revenge on the Holgersons with the MC.
I do miss the edginess of the original Bella (there was much more serious jeopardy associated with her), but didn't like one possible trajectory of the original Vic (i.e. someone fucked up enough to cling to an abusive relationship with the MC on the dark path).

Old Vic scared me exactly like that, stalker vibes in the worst possible ways. But I can't say that I miss any of the edginess of the firsts versions, if anything I am glad that Ocean turned it down a couple of noches one because was cringe as fuck, early MC was just unbearable and old Bella was full psycho and another cause I think the story now is much better. Granted, we don't really now much of the present story or how the dark path would play out but SG now has a vibe to it that I quite like that would not fit in a darker story. I think Nami had a bigger risk of being abused by the MC in the old version, all of her character is that she is deep in love with Nika, Vic had more chance of locking him in a basement.
I have to hand it to Ocean, because I think he is a "master" of subtle and emotive facial expressions, and original Bella's facial expressions conveyed more to me about her psychological state than the dialogue texts.
I liked the original Bella inasmuch as she was so obviously broken (much more so than now) and I would've enjoyed a path where the MC and Bella helped each other back from the edge of the abyss. With the original Bella, it really was the edge of an abyss, not just teen angst and anger (which is what her emotive state feels like to me now). Of course, the flip side of that is the originally intended dark paths, especially if the MC encouraged Bella's inner psycho. Such paths might have put me off the game.
With the original Vic, I always wondered if her bumping into the MC before the accident was coincidental, or if she had been stalking him without his knowledge (not that anything in the game really supported that, other than Vic's odd behavior toward the MC - a total stranger).
I totally agree with you about the original MC. There were choices there for him to be a complete and insufferable asshole. That should've caused everyone outside of his family (and possibly Bella) to shun him, not gravitate toward him.
