Hello,

Newly created and rendered scenes in the past 12 days:
461 images + 6 animations.
190 of them were for SG.

Current render count:

SG: 4790 -> 4980 (+190)

It's fewer renders than before, but that's simply because I'm working on a scene with 45 people in it. Immersion is important, so I do have to pose all visible characters every few renders.

I can render around 30 of these giant scenes a night.

I'm about to finish the rendering process for a different project. Afterward, I'll focus entirely on SG - S2 Chapter 1.

I've built a decently sized SFX and ambient sound/drone library. In my "free time," I'm also working on a simple ambient song.

My designer and I have come up with a fantastic idea for some in-game collectibles.

However, I already have so much to do that they must wait for Chapter 2.

The queue didn't run for two days because I had scenes with 34 visible people, which were too big for the A6000s.

It was the fault of a G9 character that, for some reason, used up 11GB alone. I had to re-open all of them and adjust the settings, but the queue is working again.

I took the 23rd partially off because we had elections in Germany.

Around 10 more days until SG gets 100% render priority.

Preview:
I thought I would just use a random number, and whatever it lands on, I'll show for a preview. 4K attached.

I was randomly listening to some older songs the other day, and Mazzy Star's - Fade into You came on, and it gave me the idea for a Treat set down the line.
It is a retro themed set, and because it would heavily rely on editing, I did a little test with Bellchen.

I'll prepare a small retro Treat for the release of Season 2 CH1. It will be released together with the Noji Treat.

Back to work.

Damn, when I see spoilers like this, I can almost feel that itch I had when I first started getting into story-based AVNs. Now I can download an update for one of my favorite games and only play it a month later. But with Summer's Gone, I'll definitely be taking the day off the day the update comes out.

please don't start a 3rd game, please don't start a 3rd game
Honestly, my first thought as well, but mostly because I can't seem to recall correctly if something like that was mentioned. I have this weird (probably very off) memory that Ocean project was supposed to be a group of different games sharing the same universe. Again, I could very wrong (probably am), but that part of the dev log made me recall that.

On the other hand, without that awful thought in mind, I hope is just some sort of small, very short-like project related to the Oceanverse itself. I wouldn't mind one of those side-stories, as long as it doesn't take too much from S2 release.

Dude I'm gonna make sure i don't finish the update too fast. I'll probably start again from the beginning and slowly inch towards the end because like it or not the next update is probably 2027 lol.

Of course it is, i have always been a supporter of this things, more renders=more time of development, but when the scene starts is really good watch all those characters like in a real situation.

He's referring to the game that got it's page deleted by patreon of course. Not a third game. He can't refer to it for obvious reasons.

Sweet, it means you can do a whole run from the start like you're an AVN virgin....

...just like Nika is.

Well, I'm a simple guy. With each new SG update, I replay it from the very beginning, enjoying the renders and dialogues. The only thing I skip is the tabletop game, I can't stand it. And I don't see any point in thinking about the next update, the current one hasn't come out yet.

OMG! Same!! Twinsies?!?!
See? We can find common ground. We can hate on that tabletop sequence together.

How so? Even more common ground than Kaija's dick?

I mean, Nami with boobs and a few shots of girls in cool sci-fi outfits would be enough, no need to make a whole separate mini-story within the main plot. I vaguely remember that this thing was supposed to be used as an environment for lewd scenes that didn't fit into the main plot. (Although I guess fucking an ugly alien doesn't fit into any plot.) But with Ocean planning side stories, even that no longer seems like a good enough reason to have a board game with a separate story and hundreds of renders. :cautious:

Judging by the resting bitch face I'd say that's Miriam. I'd be more excited if it was Nora. Her I love but her sister is too much of an obnoxious bitch. They are stupid hot though. I wonder why she's hanging around seemingly naked o_O

I've said it before, I kinda like the tabletop idea. If done correctly I think it could be great. The problem was the implementation. It took place at a bad point in the story, it dragged on for too long and it was mostly pointless and bland. And I say this as someone who LOVES sci-fi. Especially space sci-fi!

The tabletop exists for there to be orgies in a non harem game. But the first one failed to have the lewd thing

I'm out of reactions, but you've nailed it. The tabletop exists almost solely for Nadia's devil cards, and Ocean wimped out. The farm scene with Nadia? I'm not sure I'll be old enough to play that gathering when it's in the game. It exists purely for going overboard where Nadia is the dungeon master ...well at least Nancy will be there :alien:
