Speaking of hitting like a truck. I just got to the "Embrace her" scene and had to put the game down and cry for a bit. I've played probably 100 VNs at this point and this might be a first. WeirldWorld's earned that patreon sub from me. And Tanos has earned the most painful death imaginable. Playing a low corruption route but I can make an exception for that bastard.

This game reminds me a lot of Worm (the webnovel by Wildbow) in a lot of ways. The creative uses of powers, their mysterious alien origins, the gigantic cast of characters with great characterisation, etc. The A&L bits reminded me a lot of the Bonesaw chapters in Worm which were probably the most uncomfortable I've ever felt reading a story.
glad you are enjoying, here a gift:

Level 4? I'm pretty sure Thanos is like Level 5.
Thanos don't look the kind of person who would be afraid of evolving, and if he found a way to do it he would do immediatly. So yeah i also think he's level 5.

Wait what the fuck I just reached the point in MC's memory trip where both parents have left and he's alone at home waiting for them and then hears a noise from his parents' bedroom. I've read this before! Was it during the battle with Oscar? I thought those were Oscar's memories. Anyone know when that first scene happened?

I'm not sure about that. If his story about spending a lot of time hunting for the ideal monster to gain powers from is true (and it probably is, as there's little reason to lie about that), then Tanos is willing to take longer if it has superior results. We don't know how Tanos' current method of triggering evolution is, but we know that it's not as good as his father's. Tanos might be holding off on evolving until he refines his process to be at least as good as the evolution serum.

EDIT TO AVOID DOUBLEPOST:

It's a dream the MC has very early in the game. Like, I think it's even before the frat house. It's why people were suspecting Syla's death had something to do with monsters long before we learned anything about her. Between a mysterious death and dreams hinting at that death it was clear Syla was plot relevant from early on.

Damn. I need to replay this game as soon as I reach the current end. There's so much to pick up on. Gahhhhhh
It feels even more like Worm now

Jake's only, but to be honest, I don't really hate him or anything, for me is just 'satisfactory' when on the route of the MC having a good relationship with him, like, Jake being 'his friend', and both liking each other a fair amount, yet the MC still put him down given everything Jake had done, feel right on a sense, like a proper ending and something that don't really happen a lot on media, the main character putting down an objectively dangerous friend while not really having grown to hate him

The truth is I didn't kill him because mia That bastard deserved to be killed, but he was lucky that I like Mia, and killing him could cause problems with her in the future.

The cops at the mall. It sucks that killing them tanks your Opinion scores, but that's what save editing is for. And it's just cathartic to punish them for the insult of sending an execution squad and pretending it was just an arrest. I've seen the other timelines where all I do is try to run, they still throw grenades at me. Haha, no, they're all dying now. And then I'm going to hack reality so that the public is on my side for killing them.

He needs to stay alive to keep the glasses woman (forgot her name) employed. She needs money for her daughter, which is why she tolerates him. Its the reason I begrudgingly spare him.
oh right, forgot about her. youre a better (fictional) person than i am

imo, her sob story earns her the right to live unlike everyone else involved, but letting that dude live so she keeps her job is a step too far for my cold heart

Damn, not even that fat bastard who tries to rape Liz?
I don't think death is enough for people like him, that's why I rarely go with killing, it's either too much or not enough in a lot of situations. On the other hand putting the fear of god into him and making him look behind his back constantly while he is trying to use his wealth to attone sounds not too bad.

(P.S Hope dev remembers that chick that got necked by turbo-douche Jake!!! I saved her but she wasn't mentioned again.)

You mean when he ask the MC about how he lose his virginity?, looking back to it, is seriously fucked up, i mean, if you did it with Liz, and had a good enough relationship with Jake, he set himself on asking her normally, still, the fact that he was about to use his power to literally rape her, jumping beyond any sort of true consent, and needed a third party to remind him it was bad, is messed up

Scrolling through some discussions regarding Indra, I come across something interesting, a comment that downplayed him given the Eye Ending in which the aforementioned consumed Hex's dimension, like a guy mentioned how Indra died of that, now, to be clear(although I know almost everyone know this), Indra was not present on Hex's dimension, but that's not what make me curious, the comment answering the first person was, basically they mentioned how even if Indra was there, leave himself be consumed wouldn't have downscaled his power, since he would be like seeing 'His God', an Arbiter and willingly would sacrifice.

Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know, Indra don't have any reason to worship the Eye, and would probably even attack him if they encounter, Indra is a Zealot for his own Lord, the Second Apostle, and seemingly respect the latter siblings, but on the monster report about the Asuras, it is stated that Indra mauled them, since they worshipped Chaos(Creation + Destruction=Chaos Arbiter), as the true origin, disregarding the Apostles, so for whatever reason, Apostles(or at least Power, Body and Memory most likely have a different opinion) don't like the Arbirters being object of worship, with Indra having directly punished a favored species of Monsters by adoring one, Chaos, so, isn't safe to assume that Indi would also have animosity towards the Arbiter of Evolution as well?
