Update... I'm changing it back to a 4. While I have some issues, overall, the game is doing something in a unique art style that few other games do. In a swarm of 3 pages of updated games a day here, this on stands out. That's always worth a point and a try if you haven't.

Okay this is a loaded review... the game could be a 4 with the potential to be 5.
Amazing themes, unique art style, fun to play. The primary issues I run into are it's apparently very easy to miss scenes and the limited walkthrough doesn't help much. I'm not going to play a game 3 times. These games are fun but we're not talking (famous franchise) seven here. So, achieving the scenes needs some better guidance or easier/clearer objectives.
Also, for the powers the characters get, I fell the game shy's away from some darker uses for them. Maybe that's to keep sites it patrons on happy but, if I play a dark game, I'd like some slightly darker choices towards adult content.
So for now, that leads me to call it average but, There Is Definitely The Potential For More Here, this game could absolutely grow into a 4 or 5 and fill a role few other games tap into.

The story seems very interesting so far, I really like the supernatural "Lovecraftian Eldritch Form" thing going on. The art is great, unique and different, which is very refreshing!

The graphics are quite original, even personal preference, but I really like them. What I like most are the dialogues and the rhythm of the story. It's well written, the characters manage to distinguish themselves from each other and feel like real people talking rather than super exaggerated characters.

Many choices with consequences, author even put tips to avoid NTR in Liz's route!

'Superhuman' is a... well, a porn game. In which our poor MC gets thrown into the chaos that is.... Whatever that's city name was.

ANYWAY, the strengths of 'Superhuman' lie within(heh) its cool art style, interesting character, mystery, and atmosphere that I haven't seen yet.

Aside from that, I guess the game plays with the idea of the superhero genre that is oh so well know in the west and takes on the more Lovecraftian style of the things. Which is cool, plus BOOBA.

So yeah, cool game go play it.

Ok, so I avoided this game because the artwork wasn't of my style, but I finally decided to give it a chance and I'm glad I did.
This game has an urban horror setting that's quite interesting its like The Darkness meets Stephen king and yes it's as cool as it sounds.

The female characters are quite interesting and while they all seem to share the same trait (big tits) they still have enough personality to keep me interesting in learning more especially given the secretive nature of the plot.

finally the artwork has grown on me, I'm always glad when a dev uses original artwork and while the one in this game didn't draw me in at first, the more I played the more I grow to like it and I think it actually fits the setting quite well.

I definitely recommend that people play this game theres is an interesting story here.

I like all the variety so far so many choices with different results are great!
All the scenes and the art are great, especially if you like big breasts!
I love that you can be both a girl and a dude, it's really nice to experience both sides. I also like the music, I feel it fits well.

v.751 edit: still a five star game, easily one of the "coolest" games on here, their really isn't anything here to compare it too(which kinda sucks cause i wish more dev's took this route).
while the artstyle isnt 100% perfect, it looks good. The story is pretty good too, it really feels like your a person with a dope ass super power and not MC#1843 who can somewhat hypnotize women.

Overall if you like power fantasy's and goth girls, Its a perfect download

When I first SAW this game it immediately looked interesting to me the artstyle and the Story both looked good before I even downloaded it and now that I played it i must say this is really good different but really good first off I really like the Story it's something I haven't seen many porn games do the artstyle is unique and really good and there is even some animations in the game already the characters are also really good right from the start I even like the MC I also like that right from the beginning he isn't weak but if there is one thing i can complain about it's that most of the time i can't see the mc's eyes but that the only thing I can complain about in terms of artstyle everything alse is great I also really love the gender bender fetish that's in this game gender bender is one of my top fetishes and is really underated it barely get's used so it's really nice to see a porn game use it in conclusion i like the Story i really like the characters I really like the artstyle really Unique and good I really like the sex scenes that are in this game at this point I hope the developer get's the support on Patreon that he/she needs and that he/she finishes the game I really hope this game get's finished so please for the love of God finish this game this is one of the better games on this site and it would be a real shame if this game get's Abandoned when the game is this good

Right off the bat I like how lewd this can be while also being terrifying in some aspects, never thought you could get such an arousing project that was grim and really hot at the same time, so far the fetishes that are there and also the ones planned seem really good, specially the genderbending one. I wish you GL dev!, seems like this will be a very nice things to follow for a long while x)

The story is very good and has plenty of focus on the characters and the setting the story takes place in. The music/soundtrack is good and fits the tone of the story. The art is decent, although all the females have huge boobs, even if the rest of their bodies are skinny. Choices are mostly just for dialogue, but that doesn't detract from the intriguing story of this VN.

Disclaimer: I didn't really want have to give this a star rating because, by my personal kinks/preferences this would be a total 1 star. But those who like this sort of content would certainly get more out of it and I want to be fair with the rating. So I'm giving it a 3 star I guess. Now for the actual review.

"Alex Mercer: The Porno" amused me enough to give this a try despite the dubious art style.

The beginning of a thing almost always sets the tone for the rest of it. The beginning of this has only two H-scenes. Creepy monster fuck, and gender-bender where the MC gets to choke on a dick and take a creampie.

Sooooo...ya lost me. But for those of you who like those fetishes this is right up your alley, I suppose.

Fucking awesome. Lot of choices, lot of fun stuff in terms of action and h-scenes, really happy that optional ntr is added, Art + Soundtrack is really unique and stands out compared to other H games. Writing is great as well, felt really immersed while playing.

So far not a lot of content as of version 0.1 but that's fine! The story is interesting and the art is rather unique and I am a fan of the music as well.

I am also looking forward to the trap content although I myself am not the biggest fan of NTR but if its done right I can enjoy it.

All in all this is a 5 stars from me chief I do implore the creator to keep going because oh boy this is a rather interesting game and I'd like to see where you can take it.

Now a whole damn lot has been added since I last reviewed this gem of a game (the review I did was for 0.1). Honestly, if you removed the sex scenes entirely from this game, I'd still play it just due to all of the amazing story telling done by this amazing dev!

There's a lot to comment on that's great about this game, such as the music, the art, and the characters. The music fits perfectly in every scene Weird has crafted, the art is very unique, and I have yet to find any other game that has something similar, and finally, the characters are just so well designed from an art perspective and a story perspective.

I must say that I am ever so pleased that the dev continued and got so much support from the folks here and elsewhere.

It really created a pretty tight-nit community, as many of us here are helping others or spawning theories during the insanity that is the wait for the next update.

I have two things to say before I end this updated review. The first being that I won't be updating this again until the game is fully finished, which seems like it won't be for quite a while even now, and second, I wish to thank you Weird for creating this game, as it gives me and many others something to look forward to.
