To be exact, last update took 2.5 months (Nov 12th to Jan 27th), but the one before took quite longer, (3.5 months, from Aug 1st to Nov 12th) so would people ready to bring out pitchforks stick them up their arses for now, thankyouverymuch.

WW was doing bigger update (3-4month each), but before that it was usualy 2 months, and he try to return to these standards now and that's why he splited this update in two.
Just finished going through the game for the first time and have to say, I'm pretty damn surprised. Didn't expect an H-game to get me genuinely invested in the characters/plot, very cool stuff and the fights are generally awesome as hell.
There are some things that I hope for/bother me a bit but idk how feasible they are to do/change given the very linear progression so far
Mainly more ways for the MC to grow in power/skill and said stats and choices having more impact and relevance, so far despite there being a fair few of checks for all of the stats, they have almost no impact outside of the Valvran fight and saving Laurie, other variations based on the main combat stats are extremely minor and have very little(if any) effect on the outcomes or even progression of the encounters they happen in. More than that no matter in which direction you try to push your growth there's pretty much no acknowledgment and the MC can't do anything to really distinguish himself from his peers in terms of strength(the ones that are still around his level of experience/evolutions at least).
Especially with how different the power scaling begins to be starting from level 3 where you can just stack power to grow overall stronger even without any new special tech and whatnot I think it'd be sick if we could start having more autonomy over MCs progression, for example having choices to focus more towards improving his strength at the cost of, as an example, how much time he spends mingling with LIs and building relationships potentially breaking down said relationships over time and/or missing scenes etc
There's of course the darker "sacrifices" of which we already have a few in the form of just devouring certain characters, but so far those have zero impact on the MCs growth in power and seem mostly tied to unlocking some corruption ending/branching route later in the game which is cool and all but it does feel a bit meh to make dark choices for no real gain whatsoever up until that point
I'm just spitballing here but yeah, it'd be sweet if something like this would happen and we started seeing some tangible results and some acknowledgment for choosing to push our strength over interpersonal relationships and vice-versa
Anyway this is some real good stuff up until this point and I can hardly believe it's all put together just by one person(or so I've heard at least) looking forward to whatever feast we're having cooked for us down the line

Something else that should be considered is that despite the verison being close to a 1.0 the story is still quite a ways from being over. So its totally possible we won't see "non linear progress" for awhile (assuming you don't consider dialog choice as non linear progress) if at all.
It increases the work exponentially(?) Once a big path spilt (siding with ella or not) happens and unless you play all options it will seem like the updates are getting "smaller" or taking a considerable amount of time longer.
There is already "hints" at your idea of "sacrificing time with waifus to be stronger" but the opposite way. On a low corruption path it's mentioned multiple times that you'll need allies. There is also the bonfire scene which for most either ends up as "mc cares about his friends more than he cares about random" or "mc cares about his friends and fuck those other randoms". So beyond eating someone to gain their power (Jake) I doubt we'll see a choice to close off a route for power. Also that makes the whole loop before the mall thing seem reeeeeeealllllly dumb. Why make a loop that takes you out of the story when you were going to make the player able to dump all routes in the future anyway?

I prefer linear visual novels. For me sandbox is a pain in the ass and only wastes time. Visual novel is to read, not to be navigating in a map searching what to do.

Ikr. I used to like RPGM but the amount time i wasted moving around in rpgm when you can get to the point with just a single click in VN made me prefer it. I know it's meant to bring immersion by letting you move your character in his world, but i felt more immersed in a VN lol.

RPG is a very different genre. Sometimes i like to play it but not everytime. 99% of this Renpy games are based on normal visual novels. And my favorite ones don't have a map to waste time. They are good because the story is good.

Cool list but i didn't played them yet so i can't say. I try to not put on going games on my favorites. Already saw a lot of good ones abandoned.
I really believe that Superhuman will not be one of those. If he abandon this game i will be sad for a really long time.

I at least recommend Chaos series, Steins series, 9-nine, and Dies Irae. They are really good if you like the super power genre.

I only played the first Steins Gate, it was very cool (i didn't watched the anime). I was going to play 0 but someone REALLY wanted to make me read Chaos series beforehand so i kinda gave up.
In my opinion the game is good because of the different endings. You can make the MC (Makoto) a decent person with a happy ending, or even worse than the anime. lol.
