Yeah this scene seems buggy if the checkbox is clicked. (At least it was in 0.82.4a, haven't tried the scene in b...)

if you hold ctrl when the immediate next screen is a multiple choice, the game will freeze. it happened to me a couple of times.
I haven't seen that issue at all, and I use Ctrl to skip a lot, definitely done it till choices have stopped me.

linux and revision A. maybe they fixed in this new release. but yeah, the game will freeze if the exact next screen is a choice. if it is text then it will be fine.
I haven't tried the new release yet. Maybe it's a linux issue? but who knows this release was a train wreck of bugs that hit some people and not others. Probably find out later that it hit people with a certain spec of hardware like the Icerink bug.

So to quote from 'Developers Note' on front page ' BUT you can use optional save file, with all content completed except release update' only problem.......there is no optional save file and all my previous saves have disappeared and the cheat code just unlocks the gallery. Am I missing something cos I love this game but don't want to start all over again

In its previous version that would happen, but no matter which room I go after placing them (her bedroom, bathroom or hall), nothing happens. maybe they fucked up a trigger in their code. if i click on that left door in priscilla hall: "I should place the cameras first".
thankfully I have 2 saves before entering that house, so I hope they could fix this mess this month.

Nope. Doesn't worth it. If you have played 0.68, you can just play for an hour, and it will be the 90% of all the "new stuff". Scenes, context of the scenes haven't changed at all.

Not quite. Just saying what I see, and what I see is that the updates always slip something like that and, in this case, it was a full remake that changed the routes.
Not calling you on anything, just saying this have happened multiple times before.

Start the game , most of it is at the beginning with a few other scenes mixed through the update , the story progression really does not move this time. if you want to cheat stats and money use the cheat box found in the settings menu code is adbcbe

I am stuck at 15% and have the glue but talking to her in the bathroom doesnt do anything. Is this a bug?
Are you wearing the costume? if not you have to get all of that together first. To put the costume on you have to go get Danny in the hall way to distract Clara
