EDIT: Nevermind, i answered my own question.

Im glad i stopped supporting this early on. This game taught me a valuable lesson about patreon and adult game devs.

Only support a game if they are consistent and have regular updates - like Superhuman.

Immediately stop supporting at the first sign of inconsistency

No offense but its why I never support anyone on patreon. They're not held to any required amount of service provided from payment. Kind of like early access games on Steam. Claim xyz then just either drag it out forever with false promises or just keep throwing out crap pretending its quality.

Meanwhile you're still asked to pay. Idk I feel like for patreon to work the patreon themself should have to show xyz amount of work not just empty words. Easier said than done but otherwise its people just getting ripped off for months end like Taffy Tales.

Yep, yep. Some of the biggest updates in the industry. One of the largest 2D novels in terms of content, characters, kinks, and so on. Tons of work, and they've reworked old content more than once.
But yeah, inconsistency. Oh, the inconsistency! Iron-clad, damn-near unbreakable inconsistency.
Let me ask a rhetorical question. You do realize that for such a massive world (in terms of the novel), smaller (and thus more frequent) updates would feel like scraps in an empty world, right? I mean, you'd get 1-2 relevant events a day, then go to sleep- and just rinse and repeat.
They've boxed themselves in, making it so updates have to be huge (yeah, I know a lot of people wanted even more, but what can you do?).

Idk man you're spending more for monthly updates on a novel thats showing no real content for you to have outside of a website page. Than a 45$ game idk.

Theres a limit to hang much you should be able to drag it out before critique comes into play. As for biggest in the industry? Ehh .. says who though?

I'm sure to catch some flack for this but I've seen enough people claim stuff including modding groups on games I either have close ties to or am apart of only to see them lie. I don't do novels but I've helped out on projects.. sometimes people just wanna reap money in for little to no work I feel like.

"Saves" are made in the Windows Registry so you can't transfer them normally. You'll just have to play it from a fresh Save.

I hate it when games befoul your OS registry file with their saves.
Saves go in fucking files, it is literally what we have files for.

Yes.:

Just use the codes to unlock previous content and unlock the save that starts and new, take a few hours to play to get all your content. If you'd done so when asking about the unlocker, by this time you would have had a full gallery and full save.

If you're getting a different experience - please share screenshots/video, the version you are playing, and how you are accessing that scene (in game play or through the CG gallery of scenes). I've tried both in game play and through the CG gallery of scenes and both work as shown in the video:

This may not be the game for you.

I assume you are playing v0.89.8 "Seasons 1-4" since you mention day 8. Darrell and Roger are foils for the main character throughout in the "main route."

Taffy Tales currently has planned Three Major routes (unless this has recently changed):

• The main default route involves the MC either seducing, 'stealing', or romancing the other characters. You will not get cucked.
• The second is the 'Friendship' route which involves an alliance with one of the villains of the game (Avoidable).
• And the third route is 'The 'NTR route,' but this is entirely avoidable, you will be giving a very direct question in-game whether you want to enter into that route, if you say no, you will not be asked again.

In v0.89.8 there is only the main route, at this time. There are a couple of optional scenes which are netorare/netorase in nature, but warning is given ahead of time. The main character never "stands up to" him in the way you are implying. Darrell is what he is on day 1 as he is on the final day you complete in that version, no change.

In v1.07.3 there are two routes available: the continuation of the main route and a brief exploration of the netorare (NTR) route. They are completely separate - players choose which route they want to play when they start up the game. The main route has content for all days in v1.07.3, the netorare (NTR) route has content for the first half of the days in v1.07.3.

The sharing (Friendship) route has no content at this time. It is suspected that the villain that the main character would befriend, based upon a certain scene where branching appears plausible, would be Darrell. Roger appears that he would remain an adversary.

We haven’t found the right editor, so I had to brush up on my Premiere skills and handle everything myself. I really hope you’ll like it!
