They have 3 seasons currently planned, but isn't the patreon build "Season 5"? So they're not planning to make the steam game up to the Patreon builds content? Or they're going to restructure it so its only 3 "seasons" instead? Going forward I guess we have 2-3 years of them rebuilding content before we hit anything new :\

Self awareness and acknowledgement is always appreciated, and if the second part is true, hopefully there will be seasonal updates throughout 2025 to make up for the lack of updates in 2024.

Damn! I've yet to finish 0.89 but that's pretty tough to hear. I have my qualms with some of the writing in the game, but as of right now I still (mostly) enjoy the characters and storylines so far, I guess I'll have to see it for myself when I reach the latest update :FacePalm:

I’ve updated (yes, again, guilty as charged) all the backdrops - over 100 of them, not counting their props, different times of day, etc. - as well as 40+ characters, complete with all the details I mentioned earlier. CGs are also ready and are simply being expanded as other team members finish their work. But right now, I’m focusing on the 80% of non-CG work. And here’s where I was going with this: this is the part of the content that won’t change much in future seasons (we’re currently planning 3 seasons, with the first being the most vanilla). In other words, we’ve already done 70-80% of the artist’s work for the next two seasons. This means that future releases will be faster, at least for this reason. Plus, as the text, art, logic, etc., improve with each iteration, they’ll require less time to produce, which is yet another bonus.

I'm still upset the netorare paths never had a fair shot in his original art style since when he did its first update for it, it was the same where A.I. came into play and the entire thing is just scrapped now pretty much. The only scene we see the real potential is Mary in the gym with Darnell which had a way better plotline to go with for that in my opinion.

I still think the steam release is an excuse to rework again a unfinished game and keep the subscribe star cash flow coming in ... they're not gonna recover the patreon money with steam sells, it's obvious what is more profitable.

Well, he didn't have to try THAT hard. He can just came up with some lame shit as excuses, as always. Maybe situation is reversed - he just keep using everything as excuse: patreon situation= perfect excuse. steam releas = another excuse. global warming alwas can be an excuse. Moonphases and all that - world is full of reasons to milk braindeads.

Is far as I can see, there was an idea of making a choises resulting in one of 3 outcomes:
1- whiny mc wins, alter ego dies, mc is feminized coz he's whiny shit.
2- alter take full control, original mc vanishes, there is loveless slave harem, coz alter doesn't have any conscience at all
3- balance ending, when mc bacene the result of combining two personalities.
But in his endless reworks and remakes he lost half of original ideas and make counless stupid mistakes. So now it seems there will be bland choice with who fucks Mary/Becca/Tiffany with 50 additional text lines and 30 alternative AI generated pictures.
And with his poor writing skills he'll sell his ass to AI sooner than he can do a decent scenario.

While I don't care for AI, I can usually accept or tolerate it when an artist uses their own art as the base, but these borderline hyper detailed CG looking abs look too weird man, way too different from the usual art style and just look uncanny.

Since the game is basically being redone and he'll probably continue using AI, I hope that he does touchups on some of the existing AI art because some of these just look awful.

You mean you dont have a 10 pack? Yeah Ai just loves adding muscles where there arent any. It just doesnt get human anatomy, thus the classic finger issue.

Work like that can never be the sole purpose of an update, especially a big one. Just patch it in piece by piece if you need to, and update it in the changelog, people ultimately don't care about that stuff, the sex is the selling point. I myself have learned this when it came to the "Redux update" when I worked on Amity Park.

Uberpie has the same problem that the guy from summertime saga, they have not finished a game and they're reworking a unfinished game, this 6 years old game has been reworked two times already ...
