What hard way? The developer is successful. They were a top 20 adult creator on Patreon before they got the boot and are raking in over $20,000 USD per month on Subscribestar at this time. Even if I don't agree with everything the developer does, I at least recognize that they are successful in doing it.

As far as I understand, we've been waiting 8 months for an update that ANOTHER revamp of old content. Which replaces the old hand drawn art with... you guessed it.... the shitty AI art. Supposedly there is some new stuff in there, but meh....
Another game goes the way of Summertime Saga... cash cow, money grab, game delay, redo, revamp, delay, do everything besides what people are asking for, etc...

hello guys just want to ask something. Is the guide in the game reliable? im just a bit confused because nothing pops up anymore or just only a few and the story guides of the other characters just dont pop up anymore on the guide. do i just have to follow whatever is in the notes and would eventually have all the scenes of the characters?

Yes, the in game task list is reliable. Don't focus on one character, take the hints as they come. There are usually only one to three tasks, at most - except near the beginning of v0.89.8 "Seasons 1-4" after the car accident when a full page pops up.
Since game was made update to update, you kinda, need to finish everything that was in one update to see what was in the next one, as far as i remember.
