Most people who have had a problem with it are those with video refresh rates higher than 60 Hz. Also, there is a way to skip mini games. Use the search box on any of these thread pages to learn more.

The OP honestly needs new preview pics IMO. This game is like four years old now, and there is a lot of art you could put there instead of the same five pics from the first scenes.

v0.47.5a came out around March
v0.22.0a was about August 2020
v0.17.0a was around April 2020
v0.14.3a November 2019

Based upon this information, I would expect no earlier than March/April 2022. But we could be surprised. But then again, not.

Hello everyone
We are now finally finished with the updating of old content, around 650+ scenes (not excluded to just sex scenes), almost all backgrounds, and around 210+ CGs have been improved and updated.
The opening has largely been re-worked, and introduces a few NEW characters for you guys to explore and find!
These has been a fairly tremendous task, but we think you, and new players, are going to appreciate the improvements made to these early sections of the game as we bring them up to our current set standards.
Now that some of the backwork and revamping has mostly been done, we're putting our focus into adding the NEW content at the begging of the game! More on this soon!
