Heh, I always think that when I see them. Definitely have to suspend disbelief on those even more than the tree truck dick most MCs have "gently" breaking their "little sister's" virginity...

I find it depends on the story to be honest. If the story is really good then I feel like it doesn't really matter if it's kinetic or not. And if the story's mediocre, then the game not being kinetic isn't going to do jack. Also some games aren't kinetic novels but it's really only a choice of "do I bang this chick or not" and all it does is skip the relevant scenes of that character and it's basically the exact same story.

Games with meaningful and impactful choices that drastically change the story based on your choices, and with a good story, are far and few between.

I think acting like making a visual novel with one specific story is somehow wrong, is entitled and ridiculous. 'These types of games' this isn't one of those types of games, is that too hard to understand?

The series "Goblin Apocalypse" sounds so hot but book one it openly declares humans and goblins are incompatible. It was a silly sex book with a number of problems but when it declared pregnancy was impossible, I dropped it faster than a hot potato.

If the creator/writer don't believe in cross species reproduction(acceptable and likely) don't declare it in your sexual creation. Many of us will fill in the blanks(head cannon) for something more entertaining(the stories were too short, beta male was shooting blanks or magical/scifi forces allowed reproduction).

Just a heads up, you can ignore tags you don't like. If you filtered out the "kinetic novel" tag, you wouldn't even see this game on the site.

100% agree here. Kinetic novels have their place. Branching storylines in a novel like this one would take away more than they add. The story is well-written, makes sense, and full of adorable gobbo waifus. Adding choices would just increase dev time, reduce story progression per update, and give us less time with the little green ladies.

Because it never saved to the usual persistent RenPy saves spot in the first place.

it's set to directory TotE:GE-1683297067, but you can't have : in file names, so it doesn't save
