Anyone know how to cut the vines at the temple? I managed to cut two of them but the remaining I can't cut. The character is just trying to walk into position from any angle to cut.

You can't - they're bugged. A previous poster mentioned you can sneak around on the right and get close enough to the wall. Then you can drag the tablets onto the wall. It worked for me!
