Im currently in the process of playing this, trying to find the words for my review of this

Its not very good. the idea was promising, but the artwork and story both are a disapointment

First off, the game is very slow and laggy. Not sure what they did but animations take a while. The artwork and story both are just below the average, and there are alot of english typos. If this wasnt made with english as a first language, that last one is excluded, BUT anyone that knows english could read over the dialog and make these basic changes, to at least make sense.

Next off, the menus and bottons would benefit from a small label OR a tutorial. Starting this game, i have no idea what each button does, and even after reading the walkthrough, its not something you can pick up and just play.

The fighting is a huge pain. Each spell you "buy" is a consumable, and the game is laggy so its not easy to press the buttons needed for attack or defense. It should have been a turn by turn rpg, instead of a real time battle press.

The "progression of the story" is really hidden behind bad story telling. Most games the next step is hinted at somewhere in the story, with secret actions to find easter eggs. Because the story is so bad, i had to use the walkthrough to get any progress. Sure there is a button with your goals, which you can only access in the middle of the day. Again, the symbols on what time period it is isnt very well explained, and the only way i tell what time it im in IS to see what actions i have available.

The corruption we are seeing has some really dumb logic, but i overlook that because i just blame it as plot armor. BUT why is the MC a old gray haired guy that looks like the witcher? Personally i would have liked a younger character, but thats my opinion.

Lastly (because im still finding things to complain about), the grinding of the gameplay is a putoff. You only get 1 call in per day, so if you are working on Katerina, you waste like at least 7 days going through all her dialog. If i was grinding legitamatly the fighting spells, that would take a few days, just to go into battle and lose when i run out of spells.

PS forgot to add on that the scenes dont really change. When patrolling, even if i scolded 2 witches in the locker room, they still have the same scene. Is there a new scene that incorporates what i just did? I want to see my actions make changes in the story.
