VN - Ren'Py - That New Teacher [v0.7.0] [RogueOne]

Fun, light hearted game that doesn't take itself too seriously with quite a few cute and sexy characters. It's one of those games you want to just binge whenever a new update comes out. It's always a shame when it ends though as it keeps you wanting more.

I hope the developer can keep it up with the content. It's well done and you wouldn't know by the production value this was their first game.

Game is great! The renders and animations are well done, the music is good, and the characters are all cute. I do like the MC isn't a pushover but also isn't just an asshole either. This game is definitely one of my new favs, I might even shoot the devs a patreon sub.

Not sure about all the high ratings. This may be one of the only games that I told Mom to back the fuck off cause I'm not interested. For being a school girl punishment game, there is not a lot of school girl punishment. The dialogue is typical stuff and there is some kinda of story about the bad corporation. Blah..blah...blah. The weird cock takes away all immersion from the sex scenes and I didn't wank to anybody. Ignore.

Here's the main problem with That New Teacher.

I downloaded the game this morning and got halfway through it before I realized I was going to lose my whole day to this (in the best way). And at that point, every click was pure dread, wondering when I was going to run out of content.

Any porn game can throw endless waves of fucking (with varying quality) at a reader. That isn't special. Emotion, humor and plot. The ability to build up characters (and future sex scenes) IS special. It speaks of a rare talent to understand what players actually want in their AVNs and give it to them.

TNT does all this and more.

Is it perfect? Of course not. There are moments that drag on. Jokes that don't land and TBH the central 'conspiracy' is not particularly compelling. But the characters, oh my they are vibrant and fun. And even picking the more 'evil' path as I am wont to do, still has great interaction between the MC and everyone else.

If I had to pick out a singular flaw, I've heard the game was significantly more ... bold in past iterations. Loli content, incest etc. While the first is not really my cup of tea*, it is frustrating watching a piece of actual art crippled by censorship. That being said, there is no question this is a five star game.

You must play. You should support.

The story is complete awesome. It's goodly paced, with only the perfect mix of tension and emotional parts. The world-building is fantastic, and the manner in which the game gradually reveals its secrets makes you stick around. I enjoyed how the story incorporates both new and existing relationships, making the entire experience plenty of heart. Every moment of interaction feels significant, and the overall mystery of the school is so much more intriguing

Characters – 4.5/5
The characters are all great—every single one of them is unique and well-crafted, with their own traits and agendas. everyone brings something unique to the narrative. The dialogue is realistic and well-written, making it simple to get caught up in the li lives and relationships.

Graphics & Animation – 4.5/5
Graphically, the game is excellent. The character sprites are stunning, and the backgrounds are atmospheric and detailed. The animations are fluid and understated, Little details such as facial expressions and subtle movements make all the difference.

Overall
This vn is exceptional with an excellent story, lovable characters, and stunning graphics. Highly suggest giving it a try!

Game has great potential, i hope it will get regular further updates, that keep the quality.

The story establishes an already well known scenario, where the MC becomes somehow the disciplinary king in an only-girl college - allowed to punish and reward all his subjugates however he wants - even, or mainly, with sexual methods. Nothing new, but a stable foundation for a lot of fun.

Now you spank your day through different cute asses and have intercourse with a couple of its owners.

Good becomes the game through the high quality of graphics and animations (considering its Hones Select) - no clipping genitals into each other. Sex scenes often have multiple animations or stages and are well crafted.

Besides that, the author lets you often enjoy the kink of cucking other males. That happens on multiple occasions and you should decide beforehand, if this is something you like.

I enjoyed my stay and looking forward to more updates.

I'm really enjoying That New Teacher ! The story has me hooked, especially because the characters are so interesting. Suzie definitely a standout – she's so cute.

The visuals are also impressive. The character models are beautiful, and the environments are well-designed. The animation is smooth and adds to the overall experience.

Overall, this is a fantastic game! It easily gets a 10 out of 10 from me. The characters are engaging, the story is interesting, and the visuals are top-notch. Definitely worth checking out!

High Quality Game 5 Star

I don't know what to say other than I love this game. The dev's skills improve so quickly and the quality ramps up just as fast. Has left me desperately wanting more.

The setup isn't anything original, but it's among my favorite of the "teacher/punishment" genre.

Fantastic graphics and animations as the quality ramps up, both in and out of the H scenes.

Compelling and interesting characters. The game can get emotionally heavy out of nowhere with surprisingly impactful results.

All in all I'm loving this game. Cheers to the dev for their hard work. Really looking forward to what comes next in That New Teacher.

The game has a very very promising start, I give 5 stars for a future prospectus, I hope the dev doesn't get lost as the story progresses, but if the prologue promises so well, I think we won't be disappointed by the rest of the game.

I love the personality and references in the game, they create a light tone that helps me suspend disbelief during hot but often very unrealistic sex scenes (not that the renders are bad but the situations and actions taken are often "contrived"). It isn't all the way there with the spanking scenes yet, but it is poised to be one of the best in the school disciplinarian genre. Wishing the dev the best of luck (and as of the latest update also sending them some money).

P.S. The humor is better if you have played League of Legends and understand all the jokes about Simon. (but the style is probably not some people's thing regardless (just happens to be mine))

I like the models (it's great to see HS models that don't have the boob size and shininess sliders set to max) and the dialogue is decent but the plot is such a mess that it ends up being unmemorable porn.

Mostly good, so far, not a ton of content yet (and the gallery includes every scene of a sexual nature, so don't go in expecting a gallery full of penetrative sex), but what's there is hot. Cucking is a constant theme, but you're the one doing it, and it can be avoided if you're not into it, but for me, it's hot. Animations are excellent, nice quality of life features, decent writing, decent humour. Worth a play, with potential to be one of the greats with more updates.

For me this Game doesnt have the most Creative Plot, there are a lot of games with the same premisse (most of them unfortanelly get droped), But it absolutely delivers in its Flawless Execution.

Fantastic Game UI; Having a Hub to see the Characters Profiles is a Must Feature, for me in this types of games with a lot of charcteres.

Played Version: Day 5. This review was edited about 1 week after initial posting. The original review was needlessly Rant-like and not up to the objective standards i would like to be known for. Things may still sound a bit harsh.

Also increased my rating to 3 stars. The logic for giving it 2 intitially was to counter the large number of highly subjective and low effort 5 star reviews. Seeing as i was litterally stuck at a 2.5 rating, i needed a reason to go 2 or 3 anyhow, and this was the one i used. I upgraded to 3 stars because 3 means "Average" and That New Teacher is very much your average AVN. Several of my own grieviances were admitedly also subjective in nature.

Summary: That New Teacher as an AVN can be considered being or having textbook examples of a couple niches. Harem, male power fantasy, fuckfest, incest and netori. Let’s toss in Loli for good measure. There is scarcely a plot present, and everything seemingly serves the objective of getting MC laid with as many LI’s as possible, as fast as possible. Here we have an MC that was recently laid off from a position at a lab, only to quickly find new employment at a specially structured school. At the school genders are kept apart and MC gets to work in the female wing (both students and teachers) of the school. It's a classic porn plot at the end of the day and an easy way to set up for MC getting female attention quickly. The power fantasy relies on MC getting set up at the school with extreme measures of power, as dictated by the schools shady benefactor. And you can probably figure how things go from there. Right, the mother is also neglected by the husband, the younger brothers GF (one of the students) by the brother and the younger sister is another student. We end up with a story that isn't trying to do anything revolutionary or make a twist on something known. I realized early on that this wasn’t going to be my kind of AVN, but I reached the end anyhow by skipping a bit and the whole AVN wasn’t that long by day 5.

Pros: I think I saw some characters sport different haircuts in different contexts. That was nice. I think the mother sported tied up hair when going for a run in sport clothing.
- Body language, posing and to a lesser extend facial expressions are handled pretty well.
- Animations are also pretty decent quality. Both in and outside of the lewd scenes. An example would be when a LI quickly leaves a scene due to having been embarrased by something.
- Grammatically speaking I honestly didn’t notice anything bad. There are still other issues with the written content, see further below.
- RogueOne was a Bro for his fellow devs and put in several guest characters and handled them pretty well.

Mehs and hit/miss: Too many girls. Splitting them into categories as seen in the gallery is probably a good way to make things more manageable in the long run.
- Too much sweat used during H-scenes. People look like they just spend 25 minutes in a sauna. EDIT: This was only extreme in 1 scene, and slightly over the top in a couple others.
- One of the main appeals of this game has to be the whole legal loli aspect. I can’t exactly substract point from an AVN for having chosen a controversial niche. EDIT: If loli, visual and/or behavior, makes you feel icky, give this one a pass. It is a core aspect of the That New Teacher.
- EDIT: I complained a bit about being confused by the weird mix of japanese, korean and western names. Was told this was mostly the result of characters ending up loking eastern in the HS engine, so eastern names were used to make names and looks more consistent with one another. I still think that some more clarity should be written into the scenario. Like, i am not completely sure where That New Teacher takes place.
- The whole super convenient scenario. EDIT: Here there used to be a small rant. Instead i will say that setup simply felt too rushed. Kinda like it was an afterthought. Hence the super convinient part.
- 21 years to get into a bar? Again, is this Japan or the US? I believe bars and or drinking is allowed from 20 in Japan. Dev did mention something about 21 being the limit because the establishment wasn't so much a bar/club but actually a strip club of sorts. Still, a bit more clarity ingame would be nice.

Cons: MC seems unable to hold a conversation without losing his mind in the presence of any female it seems (Belle intro scene).
- One LI crashes into the side of a pool because she was taught how to swim but not how to stop swimming? EDIT: Another rant-y part. But i suppose this is a good example of the kind of logic that may be used from time to time. It's not for everyone. To those of us who are less inclined towards silly anime tropes and humor, it can be outright infuriating. The fact that it was used as a plot point and not just a comedic moment (which i would have accepted) is what set me off.
- EDIT: Wrote this part over from the start. MC is not a good person, which isn't inherently bad when you are supposed to "max out" the whole male power fantasy to begin with. I had a long list of his toxic traits here, things like being spiteful, greedy and unnuanced. But looking over things from the beginning once more, i think i know what caused most issues with MC. That would be the dissonance between the often silly and trope based premise and humor, and on the other side the very serious subject of corrupting and controlling the female students and staff members. I think this discord is the main reason i was unable to immerse myself in MC's shoes.
- The tone is highly juvenile, especially the humor. EDIT: Shortened.
- Something in the way characters communicate. It’s all very surface level and to be understood at face value. Never anything to read between the lines. EDIT: Also shortened.
- Several other reviewers mentioned how most girls are totally head over heals in love with MC within 2 or 3 scenes or encounters. It would be more exciting if you felt like you earned more things.
- The glassy doll-like eyes that some girls have are clearly a stylistic choice. But i find that several of them look creepy and/or weird. I think almost everyone would feel the same, so i consider this an objective opinion. Nova and Esme are the main offenders regarding the eyes.
- Oh dear. Baseball bat dong. Not the "biggest" issue really, but i prefer it when devs don't overindulge themselves. And i will always bring it up and criticise it when i spot it. You can't stop me!
- The wet squish/slob sounds for lewd content is a bit yucky. Minor complaint.

Day 5 Fix

What kind of psycho routinely takes a shit immediately AFTER showering? The MC is this kind of psycho, hahaha. He's a bit cold blooded, but it's pretty funny so far.

I'm only a few hours in and I'm really enjoying That New Teacher. It's well written, the LI's are interesting, and the MC is often funny.

It's clearly a work of passion and worth a look if you find the tags appealing.

Pretty fun story. I enjoy the crazy situations that happens to the MC.

I also appreciate how easy it is to get into h-scenes while it not being overly easy to persuade the female characters. Doing the cucking is also a nice bonus along with the patch.

I played day 1 when the game first game out with loli's but then everyone blew a gasket and then nearly a year later i decided to give the game a try again with the new character looks. I went in with low expectations but damn i was thoroughly entertained. the comedy and humor is on point and the characters still look great honestly. The animations are top tier and Sexy. The only thing i can say is i hope we get to know the characters better and be more romantic with them even without going the romance route instead of making them a mindless sex doll like that Morgana scene which i disliked. Too many characters and so little time in the day to spend with them. Also the Built in Walkthrough is a blessing. I like how consistently the game updates so i look forward to Day 6.

What ? Well... For starters, humor is amazing. xD What with dialogue of characters or the dialogue "FONTS and effects" itself xD.

Secondly animations, either lewd one or the comic or immersive ones.

Characters are CUTE I mean CUTEEEEEEEEEE :3 Suzie, Nova, Aiko and all others - Georgia, Stella, etc. etc.

They are funny, adorable and beautiful, what more to want

But humor is once again TOP - the facial animations, effects, meme sounds and jokes, snarky remarks and characters demeanour adds immensely to this AVN.

Music and sound effect are also very enjoyable and greatly thought-out.

Lastly, I am looking forward Day 6 and you should be too .

This AVN is worth time and you will enjoy it, that amazing it is.

There's a good game in there. Unfortunately, the tone of it (the humor especially) is off. It tries to be light and funny and mostly fails. The story isn't new but it is well crafted, but it also gives up character development and tension for cheap jokes that are rarely funny.

It's still a competent game, the art is good, animation are there, but it could have been a lot more if it weren't for the constant attempts at being humorous.

It's a shame, as a story it really has its moments.

Many great scenes, and it made me laugh more than once. The characters are reasonably unique and I am looking forward to more content! It's completely free, doesn't lock stuff behind a paywall. The built-in walkthrough is a nice addition
