If I follow your logic correctly, group therapy is too risky,
No, sorry, you have to re-read my first post in the previous page .. I know.. the confusion is justifiable because it was not a direct response to you but I was responding to siath70 and using online translators sometimes the grammar of a language is not compatible with English
I have talked about Group Therapy for 2 reasons
I WAS TALKING ABOUT THE GAME| I only talk about the game!
1) this is written in the prologue and is parte of the agreement with my wife Screenshot 2025-03-31 at 16.05.04.jpg
on the contrary Group Therapy is the safest way to do in the real life for couples that are in crisis

Look I am not responding to you as in a PM between us... this is a forum and the thread is usable by all members of F95
I am responding to you but I am doing it so that others can also participate.

you came to a wrong assumption

2) this is also in my first post in one page back

I was talking about the game
I never said that participating in group therapy for married couples in crisis is dangerous... but rather quite the opposite...
it is Anne who in the prologue doesn't want to go to therapy...otherwise the game wouldn't be the same...it would be a boring blah blah of the problems of different couples taking turns recounting an episode from their real life.

I would like to make it clear:
In real life imitating the events of the relationship described in this game is very dangerous...and me as 88stanford88 and my wife in the real world--- we know something about that... it is more safe to experiment open relationship with well known friends or using expansive private clubs dedicated to swinging couples.

in real life is thousands times more safe to go and search for a good therapist if your marriage is in crisis

Oh, I see! So now it was always about the game, and we all just misunderstood your philosophical treatise on the dangers of therapy? That’s quite the plot twist – M. Night Shyamalan would be proud.

But don’t worry, your revised version of events is noted. It’s truly heartwarming to see someone clarify their stance after it becomes inconvenient. I mean, who among us hasn’t warned people about the perils of couples counseling only to later explain that actually, therapy is great – just not for Anne, because you know… plot.

Anyway, I’m relieved. For a moment I thought I’d need to start a foundation for endangered fictional characters. Glad to know Anne’s only in danger narratively – and that your real-life experiences with private clubs and “well-known friends” remain the safer alternative. Very reassuring!
