If you are looking for game where the main character change his own personality with a single player choices this is not your game.
I love when is possible to debate about this game bc I having a similar experience with my wife... ( although I am over50 and sex parties are not as frequent as they were 10/20 years ago)
I'm not very new to the forums, and over time I've learned that when someone talks about whether choices matter they usually mean that with a choice you cut off a certain type of path completely.
I tell you this because I participated in a debate in the Mila AI Thread.
I am sure you will agree with me that in Mila-AI game choices matter...
I had a discussion about this with aDDont
but that game is not realistic.. the writing is voluntary write to be just a game without a reality story
This is totally false I still play the old CH14 version and Ryan is completely avoidable...so I invite you to read this old post of mine from 2023
In CH 14 CHOICES MATTER in the exact same way as TACOS.
In 2023 I wrote many other posts with detailed instructions to prevent all the men the player doesn't like from fucking my wife.

Choices have always impact in this game (both old versions and this rework)... but some of the consequences will be available only in the endings. (such as pregnancy or other things)
Actually the game is at the third month from when Anne and me mutually decided to start the open relationship adventure
However, it is important to understand the writting style of this story.
The author writes this story realistically (with some exaggeration perhaps?).

The exaggerations are due to the fact that this story is avowedly a porn game...so the sex scenes are the center and they are definitely exaggerated because in reality even though we have an open relationship with my wife, it has never occurred to me that my wife fucks one guy in the morning, another guy in the afternoon, then goes to the spa and gets fucked by 2 BBCs, and in the evening we go to a swingers' party... and again the next day the same with different men

frankly I am not the jealous type although in the first months of a new relationship I am very suspicious and maybe yes a little jealous...
but after 8 years of faithful marriage between Anne and I, we have reached the point where we are sure of the love we feel for each other ... and that this goes beyond sex...
Our relationship is based on the fact that we think alike.. we are on the same page.
Such a relationship can become boring with time and this is explained in the prologue....
Anna and I have decided to test our love for each other...and if we can overcome all the challenges we encounter during the adventure in the end our love will become indestructible....
human beings can choose to wage war against each other
but that is not part of Anna and I's life, whether to live boringly or to have fun.
Concluding to try to explain myself better--
This game is not based on choices typical of computer games...
Here the player cannot change the personalities of the main characters
The player can avoid seeing some scenes but can't be sure that Anne won't get mad at me if I stop her from going out with one of her friends.... this is a TV show... with some interactive choices but it is a realistic novel...
This is a REAL STORY inside an interactive VN ( at least is written as the story is for real) That's why i love this game.. bc is not a childish stupid game where characters change their mind based on the player choices
But Anna is a real woman with her own personality the player can't change my wife's personality... the player can't change my personality either...

BUT ALL CHOICES MATTER about how the story will progress
The choices only matter to define the evolution of our relationship as a couple....
The choices will lead to different endings
but for now we are in the third month of the adventure... and, for example, my wife Anne is not pregnant today...I remind you that being a realistic story you will have to wait at least 8 to 9 months from the time my wife is pregnant to see Anne's baby...
in fact I already told you...you have to be patient and wait....
start playing TACOS S1 and enjoy the fun my wife and I are enjoying...I suggest you explore all the paths because for every single path there will be a good ending and a bad ending...
if you don't like this realistic writing style
THIS GAME IS NOT FOR YOU!
If you are looking for game where the main character change his personality with player choices... play "A COUPLE's DUET OF LOVE/LUST", "Mila AI" or other stupid games where the MC has no definite personality of his own!

I'm not sure but (IMO) in the separation path at the end there will be a clarifying discussion where there will be choices to fix our relationship.. Especially if I also cheated on her without ever telling her about Emma, Nicole or other female colleagues whom Anne considers a threat because she thinks one of them (Emma) wants to take her place as my wife by my side.

this is a choice at the start of S2 and as you can see it is optional... . I have my S1 save file and i have ONLY ONE SAVE!

I do not play that shit illogical route... the separation path is not what i follow.
The cheating path starts with Martin bc he is he only one with whom Anne can cheat on me
And... it is against the plan our couple agreed in the prologue... I explain why;
I was the one that invited Ryan in the S1-day-3 of the game
Ryan is a close friend of mine and also attended our college... that's means that Anne knows him as my friend
this happens on the S1-day-3 while I was trying, at Anne's request, to “train” my wife to be comfortable with the idea of having sex with other men in my presence.. Wait wait...I have to stop here...
... just to get back to the point in the prologue where my wife gives me specific conditions for accepting our open relationship
backing to the S1-Day-3:
as you know at first Anne was a bit reluctant and thought it was an excuse and that I wanted to leave her, so to refuse to host a friend whom I trust and who I know is not an abusive pig, Ryan would have had many opportunities to fuck my wife in the previous 8 Years the same goes for my wife ...but they never did!!
I would have been a fool while I am trying to remove any doubt from my wife's head that I was sincere when I told her I wanted an open relationship.

For Martin, however, it is very different...
While Ryan is my friend and Anne met him because she was engaged to me in college... you know it's very difficult for a woman to get involved with her boyfriend-now-husband's friend after 8 years... Anne will always see him as my friend so.... having sex with him behind my back would just be for revenge and wouldn't last long between them... this is not matching with Anne personality as i know her... so is a not realistic path! IMO
Martin was a guest during our marriage after that he disappeared for years
That's why by logic the only character Anne can cheat on me with is Martin....
The relationship with Ryan would not last long.... Anne knows him as a friend, and women do not get involved with friends they have known for many years
So my path is the main path
I allowed RYAN to have sex with my wife as I always do by suggesting my wife the men that she could fuck with, since the begininig of this game!

I am very interested in plot logic and I often try to connect passing time with events that are not explicitly narrated....
I try to find a logical thread to connect the dots of the various scenes described without ever losing sight of the days the months and years and the places where the author makes the story take shape.
If the dots match with a realistically possible logic...then the novelist is doing a good job.
That is why i like this game!

Is there any benefit in staying faithful to the wife contentwise? I mean unique scenes or scene variations. Or is it only different in some flavour text? I remember playing this route a year ago and it seemed identical to cheating on her path except all scenes with other girls.

Indirectly. A few places (mostly in the early game) the MC fucking around can reduce the wife's love for him, and that love stat influences her behaviour in other scenes, making her more likely to cheat etc.
But I don't remember any more specific scene variations off-hand.
