I'm just starting out in the game and it's not looking good so far. The prologue match just felt utterly pointless and way too long.
It was immediately followed by the argument between the owners, and in another bad sign I have no idea which of these women is which. The choice of camera angles and the models' mouths being opened or closed leaves it completely up in the air about who is talking when. It wasn't until the very end of the argument that it became clear who was who. My rough guess based on the scene up to that point turned out to be wrong.
I hope things improve quickly.

Hi all, I've been struggling with a nasty virus again for several weeks, but I'm over it now. Closing in on release of v0.9 as well, and the time I have had to spend on setting up Steam is now done as well. So, please accept my apologies for the gap between releases, but I hope these three tasters whet the appetite. v0.9 is action packed! Stay well, and stay awesome.

Well i love the game so far and yes thanks for saying that you support AJAX Adam as a dutch player i like this alot
Firstly, its a shame there isn't a tag for sports VN's because I like those and this is the second football focused VN I've enjoyed. Secondly, this one actually shows a lot more promise compared to the other I read previously. However, another sports VN comes to mind too that focused on basketball and the one thing I feel let that one down was the amount of girls the mc has as LI's which drew away the attention of the dev's working more on them instead of focusing on the story.
Hester's use of Eric Cantona's comment during his press conference after he fly kicked a racist supporter during a match makes me wonder if she'll be as hot headed as he was. During that time many footballers suffered such comments and even worse. I remember one match from back then where the supporters threw actual banana's at Paul Ince whom I believe was also a Manchester United player back then too. He also suffered similar issues when he played in Italy in serie A but never flew off the handle like Cantona did.
As for the issue with the stadium needing repairs, hopefully it's just a financing issue and the story will focus on that. I really do hope that's the intention and not using the Hillsborough stadium incident as a basis for that part of the story.

I found the intro match quite enjoyable. And I have little interest in the sport. But it does a good job introducing the characters and background on the team rivalry. Seems this is something the MC is aware of so the reader should be up to speed also.
I do 100% agree on the following owners argument scene. No clue who is who until the tail end. Doesn't help both seem equally catty and unlikable.
I am curious which version is more representative of the final product. The releases here of the Steam demo? Hated the mountain climbing scene. MC was being such an idiot just wanted to smack him. The social awkwardness I can tolerate, but behaving so irresponsibly was infuriating. Though, on the whole script in the demo felt much tighter and polished.

My biggest problem with this game is that i don't know whether my fave girls are li's or not.

This isn't the new chapter. This is a bugfix/modified version of Chapter 8. Other than a couple modified scenes, there is no new content so I doubt Joker will update the mod, especially with Chapter 9 coming soon.

It looks like he really had no choice but to do this re-work. It also sounds like the changes are pretty dramatic and a big improvement. I don't mind starting over... In fact, I'm looking forward to it.
