imo, the game need to be refine in render.. the model looks great (can be improved especially for theMC), but the render, seems it just a quick screenshot from Maya/blender scene

i think renders are made with vam and veacause of that its very ugly

OP mentions earlier saves could not work due to changes in RenPy's SDK.
My saves from v0.20 worked perfectly, albeit not being recognized instantly.

Browsing \AppData\Roaming\RenPy\ I found out an earlier spelling error in the game's save folder name has been fixed. Resulting in a new location for the game to (re)store save files.

A simple copy-paste did the trick
