So you can cheat the currency by buying the sword then sell it and repeat.
Here's my save file with multiple location to enjoy the sex scene. Extract into %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Gayeti\
Note: Somehow Save3 is broken. And Save9 is when I got a bug where I can enter the castle in the early game.

Copy the 2 files I attached here (steam_api.dll and steam_appid.txt) to *your own game folder...*\The Chronicles of Lancelot\The Chronicles of Lancelot Gold Edition_Data\Plugins\x86_64
Rename the original steam_api.dll to back up if you want. Otherwise just overwrite it when asked.
It will bypass the Steam login.

I also use Melonloader and Mono mods as instructed a few posts before. In my case, the game runs smooth after that. (As smooth as it's optimized anyway.)
Thank you alot!

Does anyone know how to run this game? It says "Get an app to open this 'steam' link... Your PC doesn't have an app that can open this link. Try looking for a compatible app in the Microsoft Store" whenever I try to open it.

1. You download the Game from the main post on page 1 (it's likely only playable on PC/win7-11)
2. You extract the Game to where you want to store it
3. You download the Lancelot.7z from my post above, extract it (winrar and 7zip are free extracting apps if you need one)
4. You open the extracted Game folder in step 2, navigate to: *your own game folder...*\The Chronicles of Lancelot\The Chronicles of Lancelot Gold Edition_Data\Plugins\x86_64
5. You open my Lancelot extracted folder, copy the 2 files inside into the folder (x86_64) in step 4, overwrite those files if asked.
6. Run the game by double clicking the "The Chronicles of Lancelot Gold Edition.exe" in *your own game folder...*\The Chronicles of Lancelot
7. Enjoy.

Sorry I don't do video.
U guys follow THIS so the steam error don't accour, read and follow everything, and all should work fine, did here for PC at least

Does anyone know if the dev plans on releasing or has released an optimised version of the game, and if it's on this thread by any chance? I couldn't find it, at least, and I find it hard to believe that the dev's having an easy time selling the game if it's straight up murdering most laptops (like mine).

Can you please upload this somewhere (gdrive, mega, pixeldrain, etc.)? Unable download here.

And that the game does not start, requires steam, goes to steam and gives an error, what kind of a canoe is it like I didn't download it on steam? When you launch the shortcut, steam opens there is no game there, what the fuck is this,,, I

Does anyone know if an exact date for the release of part 2 has been announced anywhere?

I'm waiting for the expansion too! It's already released on Itch under the name Lancelot 2
What is this expansion tool supposed to be? I had pre-ordered The Chronicles of Lancelot 2 and have it in my library, but I'm waiting to play it until I get the Steam key.

They said that Lancelot 2 was originally planned as an expansion for Lancelot, but since it grew bigger—bigger than the base game—they decided to turn it into a full sequel instead.

Yeah, anyone who wants to play now can grab the Itch version, or you can wait for the Steam release.

Ah ok, thanks for the explanation. Maybe I'll find time to upload it here soon, we'll see. It's 11Gb that I have to download first and then upload again. But the thing is, I also uploaded the first part here and the Itch version was not playable for others, for some security or copy protection reasons. I don't know, because it works for me. And as for the Steam version, you can read here in the thread that people also have big problems getting it to run.
