According to Inatari, the update should arrive on the 3rd at the latest, but I'm not sure anymore hahaha.
Also, before you get excited, remember that it first comes out for the $10-$15 patreons, then for the $5 ones, and then after a month it comes out for free, unless it is leaked.
However, being Inatari I would consider releasing the free version early. Since those who have to wait for the free version will practically wait 4 months to play the new version.

There is a free release once the next update is released, or at least that's how it used to be.
Free updates are released one month after each update.
But since the pace of development of the game is every two months (although with this update it was practically three months), the free update feels very far away for those who have to wait for it hahaha.
But I insist, I think Inatari maybe should consider for this update will release for free a little earlier to calm a little more waters.
On another forum several users (I imagine that most of them are not members and wait for the free version) are angry and disappointed by the delays of this update and because they will have to wait until mid-late May to play
Interestingly I think GTA VI will be released first before the game is finalized, because according to a user who spoke to Inatari, he said that his plan is to release the final update of the game by the end of 2026.
Can you link a single time or place where the free update is posted? Theres no mention of one on his subscribestar. No download links on his patreon.
The only time the game is uploaded is when someone leaks it.

No they're not, we were just talking about this the other day, v0.4.8 was released 3 months ago and it's still only available for people that are in the $5 tier and above.

Surely as it was leaked before the release date of the free version, Inatari passed or forgot to make the publication on Patreon, everyone would have already downloaded the game hahaha.
Just in case I went to check patreon and I get that the last free update release was the 0.4.4 update in July last year.
I honestly don't remember if that update was filtered or not, but after that update Inatari hasn't made or forgot to make public the post with the download link for the updates.
