I had never thought about the possibility of including more than one gift card in the cart (DAZ), but earlier today someone mentioned this in the thread where they discuss the sales at the Daz forums. I just did a test. While I can't manage to have two concurrent $500 GCs in my cart (the one that I add the last simply substitutes the first one), currently I have one worth $500 and a second one worth $499.99, and both with the 30% off applied thanks to the newly mad release also in the cart.
Now to decide if I pull the trigger or just go with only one GC instead... Decisions, decisions.

17% off $17 or more coupon at Renderosity, in honor of St. Patrick's Day no doubt. Associated sales are only 50% off, so rather meh, but if you need something that's in one of the sales, I suppose...
Two $500 GCs is what the $1000 in my spreadsheets refers to. As I mentioned previously in the thread¹, you can just change the "from" name and do $500 on both. Like, use your name, and then use your name with your middle initial, then use your name with your middle initial but leave out the "."
... or just append "1" "2" "3" to the end of your name.
Not that the difference between "500" and "499.99" matters, it's just easier this way.

Well, it doesn't, not for a Daz+ Members anyway, the first 8 get the discount, add an additional item to the cart from the list and it only get's the "Gold Star" discount ... Tokens aren't applied to it either ...
It may be an issue with DAZ+ members. For Premier members, the 10 items worked fine.

In fact, in the first few hours of the sale, no discounts were being applied at all. The sale was completely broken.
Perhaps the fact that they're changing the terms and conditions of the sale every 24 hours is taking its toll on them.

Yes, the advertised 8 for Daz+ worked fine; it's the "... and choose more" that is misleading, more what?
Definitely, not more items, in fact the 9th was worse than any of the other items in the cart as it didn't even receive the 8 Token discount.
Okay, a 24 hour cycle is steep, so why not plan 48 hours ahead and give yourself 8 hours (working day) to imagine and implement the promo and 8 hours to test and fix the language and code? You'd still end up with a new promo every day ... and if they are already doing that then the QA team isn't what it should be.
Honest promo language, working sales algorithms and code would go a long way to fostering trust in their organisation and would promote genuine sales; as it stands, a lot of folk are hanging around waiting for the fuck-ups (between 00:00 & 09:00 MST/MDT) to take advantage of them ...

They had this banner for a few hours today, but it was taken off.
I wonder if it's tomorrow sale. Could be interesting to gather 8 tokens for it, but honestly, I'm not expecting much even if it is.

Just a note.
The Willow 9 bundles are essentially strong nods to Lower Decks as well as TOS Trek. Past experience has shown that some of these products may disappear shortly, so if they interest you, well that's your call to make.
Of course, said products are usually not truly gone, but if acquiring said products 'legally' is of concern to you, well just be aware that some of the products in said bundles may disappear shortly, or may not. With the impending purchase of Paramount by Skydance (assuming that it goes through, there's a new legal hurdle), well Paramount/CBS might unofficially want to throw some goodwill towards the fanfic community, and since it's toon art, well that could go either way.
Anyways, not sure about how good a deal you can get with tokens, etc. on the bundles, just thought I'd mention it. I'm not doing Genesis 9, but I'm sure a number of you are. Willow 9 has some Tendi vibes, but I already have my 'more realistic' version of Tendi worked out. Still, it's interesting to see how strongly Daz is pushing the toon stuff these days. I imagine that Filament probably manages just fine with the toon stuff, and with the GPU prices and shortages thing, well not having to buy an Nvidia card for a change has potential, particularly if you like the more 'hand drawn' look. Of course, for Iray fans, yeah Iray fans are still joined at the hip to Nvidia...
Today's Daz3D.com sale otherwise looks like 'more of the usual' so not much to say.
No coupon over at Renderosity today, unless of course if you haven't fired off your monthly Prime coupon yet if you are a Prime member. The 65% off if Prime sale ends today, and has a lot of environment/architectural stuff if that interests you.

Just a euphuism for "We are hiking up the price" ... the 3 extra months brings it down to what it used to be ... (undiscounted)
Of course they screwed up the existing annual memberships rolled over from before things went monthly.
What I see, and others have reported it in the Daz forums, so I assume it's true for us all: you'll still see and get Daz+ bonuses/discounts, but the membership page incorrectly shows you as "base", so you can't access the Daz+ coupons.
I assume this is a bug that they will fix, but jesus fucking christ they are so bad at this.
