Okay I'll post today's dev log, but I won't leak the update when it releases, so please don't DM me.
I'll cut right to the chase for those who aren't interested in the specifics:
Chapter 7 is still a work in progress and will be ready sometime this month. I'm not giving an exact date because we all know how that usually works out, but I can confidently say it will be available this month for sure.
Development Challenges & Updates
The Halloween special and the holiday season significantly delayed production, but I also ran into some major technical issues with coding. I initially reworked all my code to streamline development and make things easier moving forward. Unfortunately, I made some critical mistakes and didn't realize them until I was deep into development. Instead of trying to patch things up and
hope it worked, I decided to revert to the old scripts and migrate all the new content back into the legacy code. I'll revisit the new system once I’m ahead, likely by summer. In short, this whole mess wasted several days of work and set me back more than expected.
On top of that, I had a mini disaster when my house’s power system blew out, taking two computer power supplies with it. Luckily, the GPUs were unharmed—those things are worth more than their weight in gold these days! Unfortunately, I was unable to render anything for about three days. Everything is back up and running now, and I’ve also bought two spare power supplies just in case something like this happens again. I even upgraded my battery backup system for both my workstation and render PC, which should help protect against future power issues.
Outside of technical issues, I’ve also had a lot of personal distractions pulling me away from development at inconvenient times. Family responsibilities have been more demanding than usual, and when all these factors combine, it leads to a slow development cycle. I sincerely apologize for the delays. I know you all expect timely updates, and I haven’t delivered on that this time. That said, I’m confident that the next chapter will be completed much faster. The upcoming scenes in the game, combined with my ability to focus entirely on development, should drastically improve turnaround time.

What’s Next?
Right now, I’m fully focused on getting this update finished at the highest quality possible. I won’t cut corners just to get it out faster—I want to ensure it's the best experience for all of you. I’ll likely share another set of teaser images in the next week before release. Again, no exact date yet, but it
will be out this month.
