NLT chips away 2% with every update. He has 49% to go. That's roughly a year of development. So roughly November 2023 will be the final TGO update.

You're forgetting that NLT has a tendency to drag out the last 10% or so to 1% every update. So while you timeline guesstimate could be right, it wouldn't surprise me if TGO lasts until early 2024.

You have the correct update. Each update adds 0.02 to the number, so the next update after 0.51 should be 0.53. You just need to extract all the files contained the newest update into the folder containing 0.49111. You want to overwrite all old files. Once that's finished, you should be able to launch the game

Does anyone know where this is exactly? I feel like I've explored all of the forest-like areas, but I couldn't find a rock to look under.

EDIT: NVM, I found it at the far right side of the Forest, near the little waterfall.

I don't remember that hint exactly, but I assume it's this one: go into the forest, then go to the right into the area with a pond and waterfall. There is a hard-to-see rock on the far east side of the pond.
