VN - Ren'Py - The Last Challenge [v0.2.0] [LustyDonkey]

Gotta give the dev credit where credit is due. This game seems very polished and gives you more freedom than expected when choosing how you want to play your game. You can be a good or bad character and your choices do seem to matter, apparantly you can kinda freely chose which girl to get and how to get her. Really good. F. ex. the first possible LI/ sex scene is with a cleaning lady and there are multiple ways how that encounter can end. There is both a great seduction and rape route which are fully fleshed out and really well done as well as many other ways that encounter can end, both in a failure as well as encounter without targeted sexual intercourse. Really cool and if that game can keep up that quality, then it will be a great ride. Also all the characters introduced are slightly different written and have their own motivations and relation to the protagonist. A bit to much dialogue and flash backs (which arent interesting at all, at least to me) but with a bit of skipping the talk you still feel like getting the full experience and can use your choices how you want. I love these games with a protagonist that can be freely chosen to be morally good, grey or bad and this one seems to be especially well thought out. Great stuff.

HUGE POTENTIAL GAME

Quite an immersive game that looks very good. Good detail and good atmosphere with a post-apocalyptic scene.

The game is still in an early stage of development but I have loved what I have seen so far. Very good story, great characters and very funny.

Thanks for reading my analysis. The analyzes I make are based on my taste for the game I have played. I try to be objective although there may be parts that Im not. What interests me about these games is that they have little dialogue or interesting STORY (I don't like absurd stories just to read) and the SEX scenes. If there are good animations and good sound, for me it is already a GOOGD GAME. Of course the last decision is yours, whether to play the game or not. SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH!

Concept is terrible its Under the Dome to start then time jump. Then hey secret ending game over and everyone clapped because that was the right way to end this game.

LI's might look attractive but the concept is so bad I can't continue. I've tried 3 different times to get into this game and I just can't do it.

Fantastic animations, great and interesting story! I will definitely be watching this and if updates are consistent, I'll be subbing, no questions asked! One of the few games where I want to explore all the avenues of decisions.

This is a five star game, certainly A tier, but needs a little more polish to really launch into that upper level of games.
The user interface is excellent. As good as if not better than any around.
The story is engaging and interesting.
The love interests are varied and nuanced.
No one should hesitate to play this game and support the dev.

But, if I'm going to nitpick (and only in the hope that the dev can work through any issues to make it even better) the renders need a once over. Artifacts and clothing issues happen a few times.
Likewise, the dialogue could be streamlined a little to up the pace, and the typos and grammatical errors could benefit from some proof reading.
But, these don't really take away from the enjoyment of the game. I hope it lives up to its potential!

The Last Challenge has huge potential, start is perfect and I am looking forward to next episode. Hopefully the author won´t overwhelm himself and will keep development time in sensible time frame.

I have to be honest, I'm pretty floored by this game. First of all the choice and pathing already this early on is extremely impressive. The themes in the game are also very mature in an emotional sense, I didn't expect myself to be feeling genuine sadness over a game like this. It's also handled extremely well, it's not like the end of Acting Lessons.


The premise of the game is extremely cool, the characters are obviously overtly horny but it kind of works in a lord of flies like setting. I'm very excited to see where the story goes.

My only cons of this game are honestly the sex scenes are pretty basic in terms of animation. The models are great, but I really wish the protagonist wasn't build like a 7'4 slab of muscle.

Also bonus points for the first scene having stockings.

Lots to like about this and I wish I could rate it higher. For the positives, writing is good, artstyle is nice and the concept is interesting. Negatives: I don't like Donnie at all. He actively drains my enthusiasm for the game. Writing has a tendency towards angsty too.

Damn, it feels like I’m playing BG3 or RDR2 because of how immersive it is, like a living world where the characters really have feelings but its in fucking renpy

Ok so wow did not expect much from the title and brief description. Lets go over it.

Pro:
Lots of good models
Very funny humor and nice jokes
well written plot twists and sorry narrative
Game gives you alot of freedom of choices with small hints on path it follows

Con:
Music can be a little annoying
See of the same body type among the female characters so far

Summary: Its really fucking good even the music itself is only a minor issue and even the models is not to much of a issue with how new this is. The game has really good bones with what it can become along with the serious tones that do not subtract from the character interaction.

I did not want to submit a review, as I had no intention to spend any time more on the game after I lost one hour of my life on it. And then I noticed the ratings… Unbelievable. Close to five stars.

People never cease to amaze me. Yes, I know that there's no accounting for taste, but I still don't understand why so few people notice that the emperor has no clothes. The story is stupid, the dialogues are clunky, the visuals are subpar (at best). Maybe it was supposed to be a parody of the college type of game… but the result is not funny at all. If I had to sum up the game in one word, it would be: cringe.

Gosh, I wasted an extra 15 minutes of my life on this game. But at least I bore witness to the truth. Amen.

[As of v0.2.0] Solid game so far, I like how the dialogue between characters actually feel genuine, in that the conversations always somehow manage to derail and switch topics really quickly (similar to how younger people in groups talk). Great work so far!!

Renders look good, intriguing story with great comedic elements, and a lot of promise.

I hate it simply because it left me wanting more, than what's currently available.

There are some things that happen in this that a few fuckboys may consider NTR but that is certainly not the case. There are a couple of females that get passed around like a bottle of Crown but they are yours. They are clearly community property lol
Story is starting off fantastic. Renders are damn good quality. The moisture from sweat looks more like beaded grease on a cast iron skillet but I was able to look past that.
This one is a lot of fun boys with lots of different paths to take. So much so that it definitely needs a walkthrough available for those of us that don't like playing blind.
Already anticipating the next update.

I would not call this game particularly 'good.' That is mostly because of the over the top characters and their insane dialog. Everyone is exaggerated and quippy, but it is so entertaining. No matter how many times I rolled my eyes, I never once thought about stopping my playthrough. A thoroughly entertaining game is preferable over anything that makes me want to stop just from the intro alone. A very diverse and drama filled cast, nice music and sound, great looking renders, and actual choices that seem to matter.

The initial experience of the game is relatively satisfactory. The character models are well-designed, and the humor successfully elicited a positive response from me. Furthermore, the main character is not particularly bothersome.

I observed that some individuals have mentioned the presence of NTR (Netorare) in the game; therefore, I approached it with that expectation. However, I found no such elements. While the game does include interactions involving flirtation and sexual relations with other male characters, it is important to note that these interactions do not involve a character who is romantically attached to the main character or a former girlfriend. Several female characters appear to fulfill the role of potential love interests, but during the demo, none engage in romantic relationships with other males.

Regarding the narrative, several aspects of the plot seem illogical. The characters are quarantined in a town following a global pandemic, yet they appear to lack access to information about the outside world. Two police officers manning the entrances of the hotel where the main character is staying seem unaware of the prevailing circumstances. It raises questions about the gas station attendant and his niece, as well as Tiny, who possessed a phone capable of receiving signals and used it to communicate with individuals outside who were oblivious to the situation. It stands to reason that someone should have been informed enough to convey the necessary information to others.

One of the most visually polished VNs out there. Girls are all extremely attractive, but visually distinct from one another, and all the characters have their own distinct personalities that come through very well in dialogue (even if I personally don't connect with most of them). The erotic scenes are not really my cup of tea personally, but it's high enough quality that I still enjoyed it a lot.

This game features one of the most heavily branching dialogue trees I've ever seen in a VN, with many choices having multiple, very distinct outcomes depending on your actions. It's clear that the devs are planning great things for this game's future.

However, I do have a couple of gripes.

First and foremost, 10 gigabytes is too large for a game of this length. There's clearly in-depth renders and lots of great animations in there, and the branching storyline certainly will add some file size, but I got maybe 2-3 hours from this, and have gotten far more time out of far smaller games with similar render quality. Obviously, this point won't matter to you if you have a hard drive philosophy similar to Marie Kondo, but as someone constantly fighting with his computer's storage space, I was expecting more from a game of this size, and it failed to deliver.

Secondly, a lot of the conversations dragged on far longer than necessary. Some of this came from joke scenes where the joke failed to land, some of it came from characters establishing backstory in long exposition dumps, and some of it was just banter that I had zero investment in. This wasn't horrible once I bit the bullet and turned on skip unseen text, but I always hate the idea that I could be missing something important.

Finally, this is more of a personal preference, but a lot of the backstories of the characters were very traumatic in a way that felt a bit gratuitous. It felt as if the writer was trying to farm sympathy points for already well-written and sympathetic characters by just... giving them a horrifying traumatic event in their past. It didn't happen too often (just two or three times in my playthrough) but it was enough to be noticeable, and it gave a bit of tonal whiplash going "sex scene, comedy scene, trauma dump, comedy scene, trauma dump, sex scene" over and over.

Other than that, there were some typos and some lines I wasn't a huge fan of, but overall the game's great and well worth a shot.

Normally I don't review first versions, but this has a lot of content and I really didn't want the previous review to be the one at the top for longer than necessary.


I had lots of fun with the game. I can totally go with the silly infantile humour and I loved the many variations you could get depending on the MC's decisions, I just hope this can be kept up once the game gets bigger and bigger.

The game has a LOT going for it, it is well-written, with lots of humour, it has many gorgeous ladies in it, the sex scenes are well done, though I am not a big fan of these menu type scenes. For me, they take a lot of the hotness out of a scene, when I have to click and click here and there, but it's not horrible here and apart from that the scenes are well-made.
And the animations also look pretty good.

There are two things I didn't like. For one, the absolutely unnecessary spelling errors. How do you even get the idea to write "come on" as "comon?" And there were so many more, all could have been avoided with a simple spellcheck.
Honestly, I don't understand how you can obviously spend so much effort on the game, the renders, the animations, the STORY, but miss out on something that is so easily fixed. It just makes the whole effort put into every other part of the game worth slightly less.
The second one is of course the cliffhanger. No idea how long until the next chapter drops, and until then I have to live with the uncertainty.
I mean... obviously the MC's sisters and mom are still alive, but the rest of the town? Who knows.


All in all, this game is almost a five-star game, the only thing holding it back is the spelling, that is bad to an extent it takes me out of the game and the UI not being that great.

This game is meh. Another take on the COVID pandemic where the MCs group spends a decade isolated. Now that things have supposedly clear up we are going to send/force everyone in the group back home. I say forced because apparently some don’t want to go back home, but somehow the characters are just being thrown out on their own. This of course doesn’t take into account that they apparently have no real contact with the outside and “suprise” when they reach their home city is in ruins. Now this wasn’t surprising considering the hints, but it’s hard so suspend your disbelief in it. You mean to say that there were no clues and somehow along the way in the trip the other places weren’t also in the same state? It was already jarring, but to make things worse, we see the fat lard of a BFF get more action than our “gigachad” MC. This all happens without warning and without the option to skip. I won’t even get started on the problems with the LIs because it’s pointless just do yourself a favor and avoid this game.
