I don't know how many times I have looked at this game and even downloaded it a few times, but the UI is atrocious. Is this ever going to change to something better?

As soon as I can figure out how to make a better one. Got any pointers?

I don't want to be a hit and runner so I downloaded it again. I was a bit hard before in my earlier comment.

Larger buttons would be really nice, they are kind of small on a big screen, especially the "return" button. (maybe a size change in a configuration menu, maybe in the left column under our picture?)

I think one thing that annoyed me before is that you can sometimes click on rooms like "Visit Gwen" even though it's grayed out and the mouse pointer icon is a stop sign. Maybe that is a bugg but I thought that you sometimes could do things even though it looks like you can't which is confusing.

When in the bathroom it's kind of confusing with the options to shower almost hidden between icons which doesn't do anything in the beginning(why are they visible if I can't do anything when I click on them?) and the options to change my appearans with freckles/body hair. It feels like freckles/body hair should be in a configuration menu so you don't have to see it everytime you are there.

The Wardrobe is cluttery, but I don't know how to improve it =/ maybe that "is what it is".

The buttons should scale to size but are also usually hotkeyed, if you're referring to the continue or choice buttons. And there IS a font slider that directly affects button size. As well as a host of other visual settings, but they're kind of hidden.

You're right about the shower thing, I should probably make it it's own little button so it's not always in the way.

As for the wardrobe, I'm not really sure how to improve it either. I had this whole jquery/css drop bar many versions ago, but it didn't work for certain browsers and some people really hated having to click the drop bar so I just replaced it with icons.

The visit roommate button is definitely a bug though, I'll see if I can work on fixing it.

Thanks for the response, so many people say "X sucks" but offer no constructive criticism on how to fix X.

1.1.3 More Job Content, More Roommate content (debt route)

Full Changelog


Story: More Feminine Mystique content and I've continued the submissive route for the roommate. You can trigger the feminine mystique content by just going to work and you can trigger the roomie content by racking up a large debt and getting punished.

Art: I've redrawn the plaid skirt to be consistent with the current artstyle and I've added a flat chastity cage. If you notice any bugs or issues, please let me know.

Code: A few small tweaks and bugfixes, nothing too major.

Misc: Various things here and there, I've already written a good portion fo the feminine mystique dom route and blocked it up, but it isn't in the game yet. I've also changed how the chastity works for Feminine Mystique code-wise.

I did notice a very large bug. I was doing a playthrough where all I did was sleep and incur my roommate's wrath. At some point don't remember when but after getting the option to be pegged whenever I wanted to, every morning the screen where all it would list going to school, going into Gwen's room, the bathroom, etc was just blank. If I went into the cheat menu (I think you call it debug) and pressed the emergency escape button at the bottom right it would come back, but as soon as I went to sleep again the next morning I would have to repeat that emergency process again. It got annoying and I wasn't seeing any new content so I stopped playing.

Agreed, been looking at it for years, and the UI is always cancerous.

Like ripping the Harry Potter game's Hermione sprite, fair enough, but Jesus Christ just use bootstrap and use more muted colours.

I think the biggest issue I have seen for a while is how big the images end up being. Just meeting Riley for the first time, I have to scroll to see the full image and it looks so zoomed in that its losing its quality.

Edit: Also, I see that there is a media size slider but I have never been able to get to that to work. I lowered or raised the slider and then chosen an event that has media but the size seems to stay the same size. Plus any time I go back into the menu the media size slider is back in the middle almost as if its not saving.

If you play on PC, resize your browser and try different rectangle sizes and "orientations". I think last time I played this game vertical rectangle (like a mobile phone) looked way better than horizontal rectangle (which is usually the default on PC).

Not really the point, I have played many HTML games including many in sugarcube like The Making of a Slut and I have never had the same issue. Myself and others on this forum have provided solutions on a few occasions that helped fix this issue but the dev has not fixed it. Plus looking it up on Twinery.org it was answered that you can adjust image sizes with standard HTML/CSS methods meaning it should be pretty easy to fix the images from having to be scrolled.

Here are my problems:
1. I don't know if it's a bug or not, but in the very first scenes there's a constant feeling that some stage is being skipped, especially with Riley, although it happens with Bailey too.
2. In later stages, some scenes are definitely skipped, someone gets upset with someone, the key has quietly migrated to the other pole of the relationship, etc. I often didn't come across any prerequisites for these events. This happens around the middle-final of the sissy route (which is what I mostly play). By the way, the order of the passage (Bailey/Riley) doesn't really affect this, even at the same time, even one to the limit, and then the second.
3. Bailey has a scene where she asks to watch a video on a link twice, but it only works the first time. The second time the video doesn't open the previous way, but she skips further anyway.
4. The story becomes very fragmented over time and because of past problems with some skips, everything becomes much less connected. And these fragments do not bring any influence - a very clear example is hypnosis with Riley, when you agree with everything, but only in these fragments, and then everything will go as if there was no hypnosis. Perhaps it is worth somehow sorting and separately defining these very mini-stories, which seem to be part of the main plot, but do not have any influence.
5. Someone mentioned this before, but I will also add that before the cork and the cage it is worth adding some kind of transitional period, the same hypnosis would be ideal. Too fast and uncompromising corruption of the character.

It would also be nice to expand the progress window into some kind of task window, so that it would be immediately clear that you will not pass this stage without certain props / experience or with your current data only this path is open to you. I think these "tasks", which are essentially progress markers, could be tied to checks for interactions with characters, although, to be honest, I have no idea about the complexity of implementing such an idea and whether it is needed at all with an already established system, so this fragment can be perceived as a dream.

In general, my main problems are with the main and nearby history - a lot has not been updated for a long time, those bugs and problems that spoil the experience, incomprehensible triggers for all sorts of events, incomprehensible consequences of these events (if they exist, of course, which is rare) and a very frequent misunderstanding of whether I saw all the content or missed something.
