It has been over a year since an update. If the dev is having a hard time with life, he should just tell the public that he doesn't know when the next one will come out. Let us know that he still cares about the game. as this writing it has been exactly 1 year and 2 months........... The game was real good, but this is taking to long......

you mean a new update? cause the chances are low. Since he hasnt posted since oct on patreon chances of this getting hit with a abandoned tag is more possible then a updateA sequel to the existing game.

I see. OK, just checking. Usually — at least, in many circles — sequel means a new work entirely (new game, new book, new film, etc.) rather than just more content to something that already exists. That's what confused me.
I know this is a nitpick but shouldn't suppressors nearly if not completely eliminate muzzle flash?
I suppose I could also say if it was a quiet night it would still be heard but I am just having fun with it at this point.

Yeah, hard to say. CorForce has 16 paid members and probably less than $100 / month from Patreon. Itch.io probably has fewer than that. Not making much on your creation after 2 years (3½ now, but subtract when the last update happened) could be disheartening. Ofc, it's always possible a lot of RL stuff has gotten in the way too. I suppose we'll see if this suddenly gets an update out of the blue.

The dev would have gotten more supporters if he focus in story writing and action instead of preaching. While the game is not bad but it wont be missed

The action is great, the story itself is pretty good and the characters are great.
The preachy bullshit is a massive turnoff though. It didn't matter how good everything else was, it was never going to get a big following.

I survived the preachy stuff on the intro.
But it got so repetitive along the game, that I dropped the novel before the half-point.
It also doesn't help that the author doesn't care for any type of criticism. So the point of feedback from possible new fans is thrown out of the window.

the truth is a disappointment to know that this game is abandoned with the originality that has the story, many games are not accepted at the beginning and get their own community, that a percentage of the community does not accept your game is not a reason to abandon a project that you started. The ideal would be that the dev would take some followers faithful to what he does and make a team to manage his community and analyze some comments regarding complaints in order to give a good game (obviously if the dev does not want his game to be full of sexual scenes is understandable and you can do sight and deaf ears) because you do not always have to meet all the whims because after all it is your game and your story.
problem is the dev cometo this forum to preach his believes ,...i never argued with him but doesnt help at all bcs even if this is a pirate forum there are so many ppl who actually are patrons of the games here,...and some are only trolls ,...dev didnt catch up with that and preach like an actual ...well,kind of behaviour that never end well for any part.....
