The only one who seems not to have any Involvement is the Barista and The Girl from the Subway, (Mavs favorite)

Please remember that there are humans outside of the templars who roam about neverwhere and the boy could very well be MC - the superman story: Fio saved him from a life ending event - either Cronos wanting to eat him or Hera looking to kill him as some illegitimate Zeus offspring - who, as with Hercules or Perseus, will have a very strong and powerful connection to objects of power, precisely swords made of the magic from the lady of the lake.

I am refferencing the story of the guy MC and his babe can rescue in neverwhere from the goons beating him up - some romeo shagging the goddess, some beautyful barrista ”wink” ”wink” shaggging the immortal elf/demon lord, Sauron - with MC the product of such forbidden love.

Fio could have left him to be found like the Moses story, a little kid in a craddle that the templars found, maybe in a temple, maybe on some altar, they would recognize a child of prophecy, and thus the legend of MC was born.
There's also that boy she saved
I'm almost positive that the boy she rescued
I'm still wondering who is the child who triggered her to leave the Family.
The only one who seems not to have any Involvement is the Barista and The Girl from the Subway
This would explain how Fio lost contact with MC, the child she saved, to ensure all traces of his origin were lost and the denger would dissipate over time. So Fio meeting MC as a grown up, she would not be any wiser ... or she might be, who knows.

It's possible, that was my first theory but IIRC she said something about staying close to keep an eye on the boy. So if MC was the child she saved then she is aware of who he is. Edit: Although if he is the child that might explain him getting the "Celtic" sword (which has runes on it for some reason).

So Fiona got a group of demons together to assasinate Medb, but the real reason was to give the MC the Celtic sword?
If the MC is the child that Fiona saved then the romance will be "fun", with phrases like: i changed your diapers you know :KEK: .

Old Testament: God is your only superpower. New Testament: Son of God is the faith leader of the followers of God
Old Testament: Mary and Joseph are the parents of Jesus. New Testament: Jesus is the son of God.
MC can't be the child Fand saved. The game made it very clear MC is their parents son.
You can speculate all you want, but Perseus and Hercules are both sons of Zeus with earthly parents.
This is a supernatural tale of mythical creatures, but you can have your earthly grounded ideas too, you know.

and I fear that this has something to do with the whole story....
It could be the Templar guy from the Pub ? as well as maybe Angus, that would explain why the Valkyre was there (in the pub), she maybe keeps tabs and reports back to Fiona as a personal favor ?
there are so many different szenarios that all seems plausible atm.

I seem to remember Fiona talking a little about her family and not agreeing with the "family policy".

You remembered right, she talks about, and tells MC that as she saw this helpless inocent child she realized how wrong the family is doing, so she decided to save the child and bring it to US so it has a better chance to grow up far from this violence.

Something to keep in mind is that we don't really know how long ago that was, I don't think. I suspect Fiona is much older than she appears, so the event she describes could have been a few years ago or a few decades ago (or possibly even longer).

we had this convo earlier in the thread, and it seemed factible that it was, during the 70's - 90's, in Ireland, but absolutly agreed on Fionas Age, (damn the antiwrinkle cream she uses must be a supermega buzz) :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
maybe we should sugest the "Gilf" tag...with Medb, and Fiona as LI ? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Yeah, I think I've discussed it somewhere as well that "The Troubles" might be the conflict she was alluding too, but that remains speculation for now.

That does mean that the "boy" could easily be in his 40s or 50s by now though.

As said before, Not the MC he is to Young, Angus ? MC dad ? Statinator ? ( nah, not the latter I sadi it just to piss of Maviarab a bit :p :sneaky:) :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
As well we don't know the mysterious 3rd party, who uses the Demons, and try to play the Elves and Templars against eachother.

I doubt it's Angus since I'm 95% sure he's not human either and probably much older than he looks. MC's Dad has occurred to me though and might tie in to MC and his sister's unusual abilities.

Well, not really, MC has an afinity to Magic, that is all, what his sister has we don't have any solid proof.
So MC affinity probably does come because of the origins of his Dad, Fiona say's that that Child is Human and MC's dad has both parents alive till they were killed by Neverwhere Cartell.
In contrast to the Child which lost it's parents durning the events instigated.

Assuming, of course, the MC's dad wasn't essentially adopted. Do we know for sure that's not the case?

I definitely agree it's not super likely though. I'm just speculating about who potentially interesting characters could be for Fiona to have saved, and the circumstances under which it might have happened.
