Might be a bit too early to criticise the game but the snails were pretty underwhelming. Too many cookie cutter sex scenes as of yet, and the right balance between not wanting to get fucked, okay, put it in if you must and my pussy is on fire, you pleasure devil hasn't been struck so far.

_Messman_ I know people have asked you a thousand times so I will not press the issue about pregnancy since that's your choice.

But could you consider adding mod support for both Pilgrimage games.

At least then, a fan can add some new content and mechanics to the mod

Have tried lots of games of this genre and I can say, the NLT-media games have always been fun and good to play, but this one is really a good one, the first one and then the second here. Think it is close to Dungeon Slaves but the girl in this game is just too hot. So far though, I would love to see Talis face more often as it it so sexy, especially when the helmet is ripped off like in the first chapter. Will eagerly be waiting for updates

Hey there Messman

Can i bother you for an explanation on no pregnancy content?

The game is set on a breeding ship with experimental creatures made for breeding.

A lot of dialogue references breeding.

Bad ends lead to you becoming a broodmother.

The positions, animations, models, size of breasts, butt, cocks, amount of cum etc. are GOD TIER works of art and are also in line with a GOD TIER breeding game.

You can get impregnated with eggs, but they get dissolved and you never birth them.

All of this is plain old teasing for us breeding enthusiasts. I was looking forward to pregnancy content in pilgrimage 1 and was devastated to hear that it wasn't there and i don't get it.

So much that points to breeding and yet you say you don't want breeding content because you don't like it if i'm not mistaken?

If you made a breeding mechanic you'd be filling a very hard to find niche. Almost every game with the tag "pregnancy" fucks it up in one way or another.

This game series is above and beyond 99% of all other games in terms of content, style, gameplay, etc. Adding breeding would immortalize you in my eyes. Bonus points if you add (optional) incestuous breeding, but that's just me.

Think about it, Tali stuck on a ship with horny breeding monsters and every woman that gets impregnated makes it harder for the rest of the girls to not get pregnant. You could do something like the "alarm" mechanic but with the amount of monsters on the ship instead of alertness levels. You could add women to exploration that you need to protect (or in my case let them get bred like crazy). Not protecting them wil increase the monster population. Killing monsters leads to more safety, perhaps your objective is to kill them all.

You could even make the monsters have different appearances or powers depending on which race the mother was. There are plenty of races in mass effect after all. If you wanna add incest make tali's offspring special in some way.

That all depends on you of course. But given the material you produced so far, I really don't get why pregnancy is not a thing in your games?

I mean if he said he doesn´t like it, he shouldn´t need to put it in the game no matter how good it would fit or niche it in other games it. I understand that you want to see it but think of it that way, if he does put it in because people are demanding it without likeing it himself there is a big change it would feel fake or is bad in the game which in turn would make the whole game feel worse.

So just let him make his own game with stuff he is passionate about and enjoy it, you already said it´s better than 99% of porn games.

I mean, preg fetish is a really rare one and pilgrimage isn't that kind of niche game, sure have a lot of different stuff but usually you see preg stuff in less popular games since it isn't a must have or super requested thing.

Of course. I'm not demanding anything, my final sentence was : "That all depends on you of course. But given the material you produced so far, I really don't get why pregnancy is not a thing in your games? "
If he doesn't add pregnancy I won't be mad, it's his game.

I gave examples of the world he created that pointed to breeding and how that blueballed me, with some confusion as to why his game leans heavily into the fetish without going all the way.

I then proceeded to Illustrate the rarity of good breeding mechanics and stated that I believe that this dev is clearly skilled enough to pull it off.

My next part was a concrete example of how it could be implemented. This example was not a demand, nor a requirement for me to enjoy the breeding fetish like it was set up. I merely believe that giving devs ideas on how to include game elements is was better than saying "tentacles, plz". I did not mean to impose.

I am merely confused as to why he built a universe with references to breeding, but somehow doesn't like pregnancy (i believe i read that somewhere, not sure). If he included those references because he liked them, why not have them translate to actual pregnancy? If he included them without liking them, he might be willing to take it further.

Again. His game. If he hates pregnancy and doesn't include it, that's something I will respect. I merely wished to understand his position.

Okay this is just getting silly, the creator is making HIS game, it is his right to create what he thought for content and story, we are the consumers.

Sure we can make requests but we need to understand that just because we asked doesn't mean he's obligated to oblige them, he has explained multiple times it is not something he wants to add and if he doesn't want to expand on it so be it.

If you don't like, don't support it, simple.

And as much as i like pregnancy content there is no need to rant and fight in the comments because of it, be respectful and don't quip each other, that's just wanting to pick a fight.

Also I made a post asking for a mod support, most likely that it won't be considered nor acknowledged, but I'm cool with that, the guy makes his own choice.

Still, mod support could prove to be a tie breaker to this conundrum.

I noticed there's a lot of ppl asking for this, so:
The game (and all Renpy games, as rpc files can be easily decompiled) is already moddable. Messman includes the rpy source files, and the archive with the renders, sounds, etc. can be extracted, there are many programs including GUI ones to do this, just search for rpa extractor (it's the archive.rpa file). Instead of asking or complaining you can band together and add the mechanics/scenes/animations to the game, then post the changed/added files here.
Most of the models the authors use are available for free on sfmlab and other sites. Renpy engine is free. For animations and renders you can use Blender, which is also free. Blender has a plugin to import sfm models, called SourceIO. For help with Renpy/Python or to write dialogue, you can use KoboldCPP and SillyTavern with assistant character card and a coding/writing model. For Kobold the model must be in gguf format (and don't bother downloading full models, quantized versions work very well). Just remeber to select the appropriate backend preset in Kobold, as the default is very slow (for Nvidia cards this is CuBLAS).
And who knows, maybe the authors will change their minds and add what you want to the game.

Pregnancy is just not my thing. As you mentioned, many things are referred to pregnancy and this is how I see it - bad ends, game overs etc. I suppose the pregnancy fetish including continuation of the story, like Tali running around bouncing her huge boobs and belly. And this is what I don't like, pregnant body and all related changes just don't attract me, don't makes me horny.

It's your decision and that should be respected, but at least a modder can add content to the game without harassing you for it.
