I think you should answer the question instead of asking a question in response.
Why should we care about the dysfunctional setup of his game and the interlinks to his other creation. You reap what you sow and cut out the straw man argument you just posed trying to insinuate the other game is the barrier when that’s not the argument I am making.

You ever see games that have multiple seasons launch with the recap option to define options on the go forward. Poof your argument is void.

This looks like paranoia...
I literally only asked a simple question, no strawman or insinuations, and you immediately got defensive.
I know you and I don't see eye-to-eye on certain issues with Lost Love's current state, but that doesn't mean you automatically assume that a question is some sort of trap.

So again, in the case of Lost Love being remade in or ported to Ren'Py, do you think that Unconditional Love should also be remade in/ported to Ren'Py due to the save-import between the two?

Alternatively, do you think Unconditional Love should ber remade in/ported to Ren'Py at all?

No. You are making a trivial argument. The save import system can be bypassed by saying "In the previous non-fucked game (Unconditional Love) which options did you choose"

Process Flow
User selects options from Unconditional Love -> game recognizes user selections -> ported Renpy version of Lost Love works.

How hard is that to comprehend? Its a valid suggestion that Motz should consider for the love of Cthulhu

That doesn't seem to help. When I first meet Scarlett she says something like "I'm only here because of what happened under the bleachers." Then the reply is something like; "What happened under the bleachers?" At that point the game freezes up and you can't progress through the dialog chain.

Actually there was an earlier problem too, when first meeting young Heather in the arcade, there is another dialog hang up there, but spamming the button made it jump several lines ahead and trying to back up to see them would freeze the game.

So not sure how this whole back in time thing works. Is the MC going back in time making it to where everything that happened in the first game didn't happen yet?

Ah, I see the problem. In scenarios where the game transitions between two different layers (aka. animated images), the display stalls if the animation finishes before the dialogue. It technically responds to clicks, so if you click a sufficient amount of times, you can get past the point, but you will have missed the dialogue.

Removing the layer transitions from the translation file will solve it, but the animations will probably be weird.

Alternatively, I have fixed it in the DLL for Linux (also fixed loading/saving which didn't work), but the Windows version is built differently, so I am still trying to figure out how to solve it there.

Cool. I hope it can be fixed, love the game and was excited to play the second part.

I think I have fixed it for Windows too now. I've attached a patched version of GameAssembly.dll for 64-bit Windows and Assembly-CSharp.dll for Linux.

The modification simply bypasses a check which waits for the video to finish (which apparently never happens) and the Linux version has an additional checksum added to the end of it which was necessary for load/save to work.

Thank you! It seems to be working now.

Incorrect. He made a terrible decision to choose a unique engine and it failed. He has been asked to port to Renpy but refuses to do so. That's a failure on his part as he has had months to port the game when coder became unreliable yet refuses to do so.

Don't consume the narrative being spoon fed to you
If this is true his new games need to all fail as way too many devs do dumb shit and so many are only mony hungry

So he started a new game before finishing this one?
All of Motkeyz workon this was finished. All the waiting is and has been down to Aesouh to finish so that r12 can be released.

Is he supposed to just sit and twiddle his thumbs with nothing else to show for his patrons?

Take how and what Simpleton173 says with a pinch of salt.
He's been extremely negative and biased against Motkeyz for quite some time now.
