If you mean the regular interaction stats — relationship, corruption, or obedience — then relationship and corruption can be increased fairly easily with characters.I really did try to play for a few hours but the stats going up by 0.25 with every interaction started to really drag quite quickly unfortunately. At least for me it feels way too punishing considering sometimes I could only get 0.25 added maybe once or twice an in game week. Seems decently well made though.
As for obedience, that stat changes slowly for now, because it's supposed to affect significant progress with characters, which hasn’t been fully implemented yet — except for a few (4 characters).
If you're referring to Sigma, then there are a few things to note. Yes, it's easier to lose Sigma during interactions than to gain it. However, you can create passive Sigma — for that, you need to buy the Local Shop.
The integration of Sigma growth is still being developed. The idea is that Sigma should meaningfully grow through relationships, but that requires a lot of branching choices. So, passive growth becomes more important as you establish yourself in the game as a business player, bringing you independence in the form of increasing SIgma.
