when I first read it, I read "I built a redhead shooting range," and seeing the image, was like "so only Mary-Sue can use it then?"
I just don't know how you'd get the squirrels to come onto the range and line up as targets. Otherwise, I don't see why Mary-Sue would have a private range.

You've got to practice shooting and continue to practice shooting to be good at it. Especially to shoot something small like a squirrels. There's a lot more to shooting than aiming and shooting. There's a good bit of muscle memory you've got to build and keep up. I should know. I used to shoot competitively.

Is there really any other sort of shooting range?
Police, Military, Fed. LOL!
There are a lot of private indoor shooting ranges also. Kind of like gyms where you pay monthly/yearly fees to go and shoot. Some of which also provide ammo that you can purchase(at a premium of course) for firearms you can rent per session for your shooting pleasure.

Still easier to shoot than birds, at least imo.
